Be man enough to say it – Anwar tells Najib who claims former PKR MPs told him everything

Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to ‘be a man’ and reveal what had been said between him and the 2 former PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) members of parliament during their trip to the United States. Anwar said “If Najib has something to say, then he should be man enough to say it,”

This came in light after Najib, during a speech last week in Bukit Sentosa claimed that the 2 former PKR MP’s Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohd Hashim and Zulkifli Noordin had went to his (Najib’s) room one night in Washington DC and told him everything about Anwar and the PKR where he said “I know everything... even up to (the opposition's) underwear,” Anwar said that “Najib was attempting to castigate the opposition while at the same time refusing to do so openly. It is very demeaning for a leader of a political party, let alone the Prime Minister to hide behind turncoats like Zahrain and Zulkifli.

I have already openly accused Najib of being tainted with the Scorpene corruption scandal and the failure to deal with all the unanswered questions in the Altantuya murder, not to mention the other issues plaguing the nation and the people. Najib should answer them instead of indulging in scurrilous gossip and rumour mongering,”
