No jail term for Bung Moktar because it is his first time

Datuk Bung Moktar Radin who was recently sentenced to a fine of RM1,000 and a jail term of 1 month for committing polygamy without the Syariah court’s consent has had his jail sentenced quashed. He however would still be required to pay the fine. He appeared outside the court with teary eyes and hugged her second wife, Zizie Izette A Samad, an actress. Syarie judge Mukhyuddin Ibrahim, ruled that the jail sentence was ‘not suitable’ because it was his first offence.

Mukhyiddin said “The one-month jail sentence was not suitable as it was Bung’s first offence and he had no previous criminal record. While Bung is a member of parliament, he was not involved in formulating and amendment of Islamic law in the state of Selangor. As this is a first offence and the appellant has a great responsibility to the family and society, I believe that a prison sentence will affect his responsibilities to the family. Also suffering by the family can lead to problems. In addition, the reputation and image of appellant as a member of parliament will be viewed negatively by society if the prison sentence imposed,”

These are the what Umno politicians are made ofBung's Polygamy Case.
Syariah Court had made a mockery of itself ..... when Bung & his 'mistress' was in the Syariah Court, instead of paying attention to the Syariah Judge, these two were seen playing around with one another ... the illegal mistress was seen playing with Bung's hair and calling him 'Sayang, Sayang' and both was seen giggling all the while. How could they behave in such a way in front of a Syariah Judge. If a normal muslim couple committed such disrespect act inside the syariah court, definitely the Judge will give the polygamy couple a harsh warning but for a Umno elite the Judge has to close one eye on this.

This clearly show that this polygamy couple doesn't respect the syariah court meaning they don't respect God yet this couple was given special treatment. Kudos to BolehLand Syariah Courts !

IN THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAH - JUSTICE HAVE BEEN SERVED BY NOT IN COMPLIANCE TO ISLAMIC LAWS.

THIS MAN CALLED BUNG MOKTAR IS A KNOWN PERSON IN THE EYES OF THE LAW BECAUSE HE'S ONE OF THE LAW-MAKER.

AS A LAW-MAKER DOING OR ACT WRONGLY, HE OR SHE MUST BE PUNISH HEAVILY WITHOUT ANY REMORSE.

IF BUNG MOHTAR CAN BE FREED WITHOUT ANY PUNISHMENT HOW CAN OTHER ORDINARY MUSLIM OR NON-MUSLIM PERSON HAVE FAITH IN THE MALAYSIAN JURISDICTION?

IT SEEMS EVERYTIME WHEN A WELL-CONNECTED PERSONS OR KNOWN PERSONS IN THE BN PARTY CAN EASILY DO ANYTHING OR EVERTHING UNDER THE SUN.

IN MY OPINION, THE SYARIE JUDGE MUKHYUDDIN IBRAHIM MUST RESIGN IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE HIS REASONING HIS TOO BIAS, UNISLAMIC AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

AS A SYARIE JUDGE - HE MUST BE DECISIVE, HONEST AND BELIEVE IN ISLAMIC FAITH WITHOUT ANY REMORSE.

NEVERTHELESS, IT'S TOO LATE AS THE SENTENCED HAVE BEEN PASSED WITHOUT THINKING THE CONSEQUENCE.

UTTERLY - NONSENSE AND IN DISBELIEF!!!!

JUST BECAUSE HE DOES IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AS A LAW-MAKER BUT NOT AS A LAW ABIDING RAKYAT WHO WILL BE SENTENCE WITHOUT SAYING IT IS THE FIRST TIME OFFENCE.

Saiful-friendly Najib aide headed for divorce

KUALA LUMPUR: Khairil Annas Jusoh, the Najib aide associated with the Sodomy II star witness, is having trouble in his marriage to the daughter of the Mongolian Honorory Consul, according to fugitive blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin, also known as RPK.

Still smirking over the effect his revelation about the Saiful-Farah affair has had on the Najib regime, RPK has made another startling revelation about people involved in bringing about the sodomy accusation against Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.

Khairil is the man posing with sodomy accuser Saiful Bukhari Azlan in the photograph published all over the Internet after news about the accusation broke. The picture was taken outside the office of Najib Abdul Razak, then Deputy Prime Minister. [photo below]

RPK, in a blog posting entitled “Just when you thought it is safe to go into the water”, says Khairil may soon divorce the woman he married slightly more than a month ago, the reason being that he is bisexual.

He writes: “What is the relationship between Saiful and Khairil? Khairil says Saiful went to Najib’s office to apply for a scholarship and he says they met only that once.

“Malaysia Today said that that was not true and that there is something more than that going on between Khairil and Saiful that has nothing to do with a scholarship.

“Khairil is a graduate of the International Islamic University (UIA) and all his contemporaries in UIA know about his gay tendencies. A number of his university mates have confirmed this, as have his secondary school mates from Sekolah Alam Shah.”

RPK says Khairil’s wife, Sharifah Nabila Sara, recently left him and “divorce is certainly on the cards.”

She is the daughter of Syed Abdul Rahman Alhabshy, who once adamantly insisted that Najib had an affair with murdered Mongolian beauty Altantuya Shaariibuu.

However, as RPK notes, Syed Abdul Rahman did an about turn during campaigning for the Permatang Pauh by-election.

Previously RPK disclosed that Mohd Saiful was having an affair with Farah Azlina Latif, a deputy public prosecutor who was involved in the sodomy trial.

She has since been removed from the prosecution team by Attorney-General Abdul Gani Patail. He however had not confirmed or denied the alleged relationship.

Both Mohd Saiful and Farah also have not said anything publicly about the alleged relationship.

VIPs including those who carry the titles like Tan Sri, Datuk Seri and Datuk as well as celebrities are among half a million Malaysians banned from leaving the country. The names provided by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, Bank Negara Malaysia, Securities Commission, Employees Provident Fund and Prisons Department are barred from leaving the country due to different reasons namely because of tax-related issues or bankruptcy.

According to Immigration Department security division director Ibrahim Abdullah, a total of 424,653 Malaysians are blacklisted and barred from leaving the country. The list has also included those who overstayed in other countries and failed to settle taxes for foreign workers.

Meanwhile, a total of 46,887 youths aged between 25 and 35 were also accounted in the list for they failed to repay education loans provided by National Higher Education Fund Corporation. That means the youngest person to be blacklisted is only 25 years of age.

BAN ALL UMNO VVIP AND VIP..
BAN SEMI VALUE..!!

A total of 424,653 of Malaysians are barred from leaving the country for reasons of suspected of non declaration of millions of US currency in Singapore banks as well as those who did not pay back for study loan taken from the government. It also goes to officials suspected of corruption scandal in Port Klang projects which involved in RM Billions and many other suspected cases. The rakyat will definitely approve this kind of activity by MACC irrespective of people having Tan Sri, or Tun titles. MACC should walk the talk if they require the rakyat's support by going after a few top corrupted officials and not harrasing on a few small opposition party officials alone. No one should be spared as long as corruption is involved.

Bakun dam is expected to be completed by end of the year

The much-talked about Bakun dam project in central Sarawak that began its development in 1996 is scheduled to be completed by end of this year. It is reported that the dam would start generating power at its plant at the dam site located about 200 kilometres away from Bintulu by July next year.

The project developer Sarawak Hidro Sdn Bhd invited journalists to witness the progress of the project recently. The company is trying to provide more job opportunities in eco-tourism industry for natives who were affected with the project since 1996.

The construction of this mega project which is as big as the Republic of Singapore, delayed 18 months following 1997 Asian financial crisis. When the project was launched, about 15,000 people in the surrounding areas were forced to relocate.

Delay 18 months ????? It was delay more than 10 years my friend. China built the Three Gorge dam at the same year as our Boleh Damn China dam is about 9 times the size and cost of our Boleh Damn, yet China can complete its dam few years ahead of our BOLEH DAMN.

First pg, on the Star newpaper shows a BIG picture of Boleh Damn, in the picture we can see plenty 'green algae ' growing at the surface of the damn structure. Our Boleh Damn looks like a hundred years old structure ... what a Shame !.

We had lost multi billions on this Bakun DAMN another eye sore project by BN.

The saman ekor controversy

Unsettled traffic summonses have accumulated up to 17 million in nine years, and the government is facing difficulties in resolving the issue, as the old summonses are snowballing with new summonses fast increasing.

Among the 13 million driving licence holders, at least 10 per cent of them are repeat traffic violation offenders. As they never change their reckless driving attitude, their vehicles have become life-threatening weapons.

The government decided in May 2010 not to offer discount for summonses to show its tough stand, but the grassroots politicians intervened by asking it to show understanding for the people.

The Anti-Saman Ekor Campaign (KASE) task force set up by PAS urged the Road Transport Department (RTD) to stop blacklisting vehicle owners for failing to settle saman ekor (traffic summonses issued for traffic offences caught on camera) issued by the police.

KASE chairman Mahfuz Omar believed that the saman ekor could encourage corruption and abuse of power and it was also against the Federal Constitution.

After a meeting with representatives from 14 bus and taxi associations on the issue, Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin also urged the government to scrap the saman ekor policy.

Khairy said that the policy was unfair to motorists who were not given a chance to defend themselves.

In addition, some people also urged the chief secretary to the government to resign as they were not given discount for summonses.

Both the ruling and opposition parties are opposing the saman ekor policy as it is unfair.

For example, some people might use false license plates and caused innocents to be fined. The summons notifications are sent to vehicle owners and companies only after three or four months and it might cause them difficulties to identify the drivers. Also, there is a possibility of detection equipment and man-made technical errors.

But Transport Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha believes that issuing summonses on the spot can invite bribery and power abuse more easily compared to the saman ekor.

If the government scraps the saman ekor policy because of political pressure, it must come out with a better enforcement and clearly define the saman ekor. Summonses issued based on speed trap detectors installed along highways are saman ekor. Are parking summonses tucked underneath the windscreen wipers considered saman ekor too?

If they have to issue summonses to traffic offenders on the spot, based on the current law enforcement capability of Malaysia, they would have to set up road blocks, which are very likely to cause traffic jams. Also, they may not be able to have Operasi Sikap.

Instead of wasting time arguing, it is better to learn from foreign countries and overcome their weaknesses, so that their credibility can be improved and the people will be convinced that the saman ekor policy will be properly implemented without involving fraud.

In Taiwan, warning notice board will be placed 500 metres before speed traps, police cars will be parked in conspicuous places and patrols will be strengthened at dangerous sections. Their objective is to promote road safety, instead of “earning money”.

The saman ekor must be issued quickly and a task force must be set up to investigate the people’s complaints over unreasonable summonses, just like Hong Kong people can complain to the Central Traffic Prosecutions Division or through online.

As long as there is a controversy, the saman ekor policy should be suspended and just let the police to openly issue summonses during the transition period.

May be the PRU13 will setlle all these non-sense ?

I can accept saman ekor provided police put on its website the photos of traffic offenders for owners to counter check. the accesstothis site shouldbe simple. With clear shots of offenders number plates with date and time printed on the photo ,there's no excuse not to pay the summons. Currently, those who dispute saman ekor have to to pay RM10 at traffic police station just to check the photos. A waste of time which contradicts police motto of "cepat dan tepat"..what say u police!!!

Recently I received a summon RM300 for a traffic offence I had committed 3 year ago. I had never received a summon either stuck on my windscreen or letter in the post. All I had was, there was an outstanding summon. I only found that out when the car owner, who happens to be my sibling tried to renew the annual car registration, eventhough I have been the only person driving the vehicle. I would like to settle the fine but, why it takes 3 years? How come I didnt receive the summon on my windscreen, in person or by post?

This has got nothing to do with promoting road safety other than to generate revenue, worst than Alongs. At least Ah Longs will give you an opportunity to explain, but not Saman Ekor

4,600 JPJ personnel to monitor deadly stretches during Aidilfitri

A total of 4,600 Road Transport Department (JPJ) personnel will monitor 202 deadly stretches nationwide during the Aidilfitri festive season.

The two-week operation, which will be conducted round the clock, will start one week before Aidiltri, said JPJ director-general Datuk Solah Mat Hassan.

He said JPJ personnel would also be deployed at 36 bus terminals nationwide to check the condition and log books of express buses while the police would conduct urine tests on drivers.

“The JPJ will flush out touts from bus terminals while taxi drivers will be pulled up if they charge exorbitant fares or refuse to use meters,” he told reporters at the close of the One Community One JPJ Programme at Kampung Sungai Berua Orang Asli Village here today.

He said JPJ control rooms in all states and the headquarters would operate round the clock during the operation.

Complaints against errant drivers can be made at JPJ counters at bus terminals, control rooms in all states or the headquarters, or via e-mail at aduan@jpj.gov.my.

Thirty-six Orang Asli residents from Kampung Sungai Berua received class B2 driving licence at the ceremony which was officiated by Terengganu Youth and Sports Committee chairman Rozi Mamat, who represented Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said

Khalid maintains royal debacle resolved

Khalid: Selangor protocol officers have already met officials from the palace.

Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim today said his administration had already resolved the debacle over the Queen’s visit at the Islamic Song Festival held earlier last month, where the Selangor ruler and most executive councillors were not informed.

“Selangor protocol officers have already met officials from the palace,” the Selangor Mentri Besar told reporters.

However, Umno leaders have lashed out at his administration for dismissing the need to apologise to Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah.

Only one Selangor executive councillors attended the Tourism Selangor-organised International Islamic Song Festival on July 4, to welcome the Queen.

Khalid said he did not want to comment further on the issue, despite coming under fire from his predecessor Datuk Seri Dr Khir Toyo and Selangor Umno deputy chief Datuk Seri Noh Omar.

Dr Khir and Noh have said that Khalid’s refusal to apologise was rude and arrogant.

But Khalid today dismissed their criticisms.

“It’s not relevant,” said Khalid.

He pointed out that Tourism Selangor has been held accountable for the blunder.

“They have been asked to look into it (what had happened) and improve,” said Khalid.

It was previously reported that Tourism Selangor had received a show cause letter from Tourism executive councillor Elizabeth Wong.

Khalid added the question of Wong personally apologising or being held accountable did not arise.

Istana Negara, in a statement on Thursday, said the Queen attended the event after receiving an official invitation from organisers.

Why didn't you open your mouth then? The selangor affair was a let down by Tourism Selangor as explained by the MB. Why are you two still crowing.

Yeah, now that these two has-been's are out of power they pick on the most frivolous things to blare their mouths. Go back to your kampong and rear chickens!

nor and toyo, please stop barking because the more you bark, the more your ignorance and stupidity are revealed. if you two are good at bungling, just keep your big mouths shut and sit down quietly.
