bye bye party for BN ....Yen Yen ‘all Psy-ched up’

Dr Ng Yen Yen is all ‘Psy-ched’ up.The tourism minister just can’t wait for Korea’s phenomenal dance sensation Park Jae-sang, better known as ‘Psy’, to hit the Penang shores with his mesmerising and infectious ‘Gangnam Style’ dance.
She said Penang would gain such worldwide attention overnight when the man who attracts over 1 billion followers on YouTube performed his brand of music on Monday, in conjunction with the 1Malaysia Chinese New Year Open House.

“I would want to be in Penang (when Psy performs), I want to see who is this guy who can attract 1 billion followers on Youtube, and gained some 4.7 million fans,” she said.

Nevertheless, Dr Ng was quick to point out that the concert has nothing whatsoever to do with politics.

“This is because, the singer will definitely not be interested to know who will win in Malaysia’s coming general election. Nor would he commit himself to being a tool for anyone. – Bernama

PSY going to ride on an Old Horse name Yen. The Old Horse is all Ride Up for PSY.
Penang going to have some minor earth quake.

Off course Psy is not going to be bothered about politics! He is an artist and singer. He is here for his performance and get paid! What a clever way that BN concoct to attract crowds and then brag about 80k people attended Najib's open house! Overwhelming responses??? Penangites love free entertainment and free food but we are no fools!

Psy going to introduce Gangnam Style 2, based on Lembu (not Kuda) for Pulau Pinang Show?

increasing crime, but the police do the job sinecures...Police to probe threat to torch Lynas plant

The police will investigate a threat made by Himpunan Hijau president Wong Tack to burn down the Lynas rare-earth refinery in Gebeng here should the plant still be running after the 13th general election.

Pahang police chief Datuk Sharifuddin Ab Ghani said the threat would be investigated under Section 507 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation.

“We will not compromise with any party who tries to create chaos and we give a stern warning that action will be taken against those involved,” he told reporters after launching the state-level “Ops Selamat II” in conjunction with the Chinese New Year festival here today.

He said Wong (picture) would be called up to give his statement for allegedly making the threat at a Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) event in Kuantan recently.

Wong was also reported to have threatened to call for street demonstrations to topple the new government if the demand to shut down the Lynas plant was not met.

“We have laws in the country, so do not act recklessly without thinking. This threat seems to be an intimidation and it is an offence,” said Sharifuddin.

Yesterday, MCA Bentong division chairman Datuk Hoh Khai Mun challenged the opposition and its allies to state their stand over Wong’s threat, asserting that they should be responsible for it.

He said the opposition had been inflaming its supporters by calling them to take to the streets to topple the government.

“This time around, one of their supporters had gone too far by fanning hate against the government and Lynas without thinking of the consequences to the people,” he added. — Bernama

Dr M should tell the whole nation that Wong Tack' threat to burn Lynasis NOTHING compared to Ibrahim Ali's to burn the Bibles. If Ibrahim Ali's threat is no malice, Wong's threat is not even a whimper! The Attorney General knows that too.

Please probe Ibrahim Ali first. Leave Wong Tack alone. The Lynas is not on fire yet.

Where is your impartiality? We must clean house on the police force. Their action is shameful.

I am not supporting Wong on his call for set Lynas on fire but he is expressing total frustration and he is warning this to both BN and Pakatan, whomever that come into power after GE13.

See how fast the police react to Wong Tack's claim? They never do the same to Ibrahim Ali....

Plant at least 500,000 Indon & Bangla phanton voters in Penang in the coming GE, same like in Sabah....So Winning back Penang not impossible...!!!

leadership through bribery, breach of trust and robbery

Penang Barisan Nasional (BN) has regained public support recently so it is not impossible for the coalition to win back the state, said Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

“It is not impossible to recapture the state but it will not be easy too.

“I don’t want to sound arrogant by saying that we can easily win back the state as it will be an uphill battle,” he (picture) told reporters at a press conference at Equatorial Hotel here today.

He noted that in general, the public are beginning to realise the good that BN has done for them and that they are now more receptive to the coalition.

“A recent survey by our election machinery has revealed an increase in support for BN and there are a few parliamentary seats that we could win back,” he said, adding that those seats were lost to Pakatan Rakyat (PR) due to internal issues and not due to a lack of support for BN.

In Election 2008, Penang fell to PR when the opposition coalition consisting of DAP, PKR and PAS, won 29 out of 40 state seats, totally wiping out Gerakan and MCA while Umno only managed to retain 11 seats.

PR also won 11 out of 13 parliamentary seats in Penang.

“Now, we can see that we are regaining support from people in some of the constituencies, so we are sure to win back a few seats,” he said.

He said Penang BN would have to continue working hard to win back the support of the people just as PR is now working hard to retain it.

Muhyiddin also said he has heard complaints from Penangites against the current PR state government over various issues from land disputes to housing matters.

“There are now so many unresolved issues and the people have realised that and opened their eyes to really evaluate Pakatan Rakyat,” he said.

Earlier, he said all 345 BN election machinery were now fully prepared for Election 2013 while hinting that the polls could be called in a matter of days or weeks.

A total of 13.3 million registered voters will be casting their ballots in the upcoming polls for a total of 222 federal seats and 505 state seats across 12 states and three federal territories.

In Penang, about 840,000 registered voters will cast their votes in 13 parliamentary constituencies and 40 state constituencies

Actually he is right. It is not impossible for BN to win back Penang. It's possible in another 20 or 30 years when all the current people in BN has been replaced with honest and hard-working MPs & ADUNs.

Well said Muhyiddin, but in this world nothing is impossible. How true it is as people strongly believe that the past term of Malaysian governance should be won by PR not BN if not due to what being revealed lately and still is by RCI over disgusting Project IC. By the way PR can also imitate your statement but in a more positive manner instead "It is quite possible that PR could capture Putrajaya comfortably in this coming GE-13. There are now so many corruptions and evil deeds and people have realized and opened up their eyes to evaluate BN". In general people have realized how bad BN has perform and now they are more rejective to the coalition.

Still hinting the polling date? Should the polling day suppose to be announce months back like other develop democratic countries, what's the motive behind keeping it secret and let public keep on guessing. Anyway, by now people themselve can possibly guess the most possible date will be i.e. 27/2/2013 (Weds) - Dissolving of Parliament, 10/3/2013 (Sun) - Party Candidates Nomination, and 24/3 - The Polling Day!

Tell your boss to call the election and clear the air once and for all. The fact is that BN is scared. The two of you still riding on Badawi's mandate. SHAMELESS !!!

malaysia economy ruined because BN bandits ...so their tycoons invest overseas...they too be afraid of malaysia stock exchange be gambling house by UMNO-BN cronies

Malaysian businessmen, politicians park money in Singapore

malaysia stock exchange  become  gambling house  by UMNO-BN cronies

Former minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim is just part of a growing number of Malaysian political and corporate figures to put their money on Singaporean penny stocks, the republic’s Straits Times newspaper reported today.

The 62-year-old with a chequered political past joins media tycoon Datuk Tong Kooi Ong and Datuk Wira Dani Daim, son of former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin, in buying up the controlling stake in budding Singapore listed companies.

This is part of a trend observers are expecting to continue this year, the Singaporean daily said “given the uncertainty of the election outcome, which has caused jitters in the business circles there”.
Zaid had last month bought up 350 million new shares in Singapore-based Ipco International for S$6.9 million (RM17.15 million), which gives him a seven per cent stake in the listed company with a finger in a large number of pies worldwide ranging from construction and infrastructure to the energy sector.

“The company is already working on the business and I have some time to contribute to what it has in China,” the former de facto law minister told ST, adding that Singapore was the best place to do business.

The founder of the country’s leading law firm told the paper he was drawn to invest in Ipco, which has rights to produce and supply oil and natural gas production rights in China.
“I’ve got to start somewhere and Ipco is Singapore-based, which is why I like it. There’s better exposure and more liquidity,” Zaid was reported saying.

The Singapore daily reported Tong, well-known former stockbrocker, ex-banker, investment analyst and currently the executive chairman of The Edge Media Group — which publishes business papers here as well as in Singapore — had last year emerged as a the single largest shareholder in paper products firm UPP Holdings.

Wira Dani, was also reported to have parked his investments in the island republic, putting in S$4 million for a 17.8 per cent stake in Asiasons WFG Financial last March. The corporate finance and investment firm was renamed ISR Capital last December.
The daily reported punters to be chasing after shares in these penny-stock firms believing their businesses will grow.

Even Diam doesn't TRUST the so called Malaysian Robust Economy outlook as acclaimed by BN devils Government....so we the Malaysians must not be a FOOL to take words from so called Economic Experts or Analysis and get into troubles later. CORRUPTED Government produces CORRUPTED Economy outlook......

you now what is so sick about Malaysia? other countries are fighting to enlarge the cake to share; we are literally fighting for the same cake without enlarging it; if so how are we going to escape the poverty trap? duh.

Do not sacrifice the future by scandals like me and Zahida ... this corrupted minister is trying to fool people...

Shafie: Do not sacrifice your future

The people were today told to not sacrifice their future and that of the country’s by believing in the promises made by the opposition.
Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the people should have an open mind and to think rationally the promises made by the opposition, as well as accusations against the Barisan Nasional (BN) government.

“The opposition parties are only good at blaming the government. They deny all the good done by the government when they themselves did nothing to help the people,” he told reporters after launching a campaign to promote the use of latex products at TSB Kampung Bukit Lada 2 here yesterday.

He said the allies of the opposition pact were not united and the pact was formed merely for purpose of winning an election.

“The people should exercise wisdom when choosing a government,” he added.

The Rural and Regional Development Minister also said that BN had a planned-development agenda for the people.

The focus of development is not only in the urban areas, as priority will also be given to the rural and interior areas to uplift the income of local residents, he added. – Bernama

Under UMNO/BN Malaysia has no future.

Under UMNO/BN our children have no future.

The only future we have, under UMNO/BN, is total annihilation, poverty, racial strife, religious fanaticism, bloodletting.
