Mais to warn DAP MP over surau visit

The Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) will send a warning notice to Serdang Member of Parliament Teo Nie Ching, who was reported to have delivered a “ceramah” or talk in the praying area of Surau Al-Huda in Kajang Sentral, last Sunday.

Mais chairman Datuk Mohamad Adzib Mohd Isa in a statement today that Teo’s action had caused the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah to get upset and angry to the extent of ordering Mais to take immediate and stern action against the management of the surau.

Hence, Mohamd Adzib said Mais had decided to take over the management of the surau with immediate effect.

“Mais also wants to remind all non-Muslim politicians not to repeat a similar offence, to be sensitive to the feelings of Muslims, and show respect to the Sultan’s decree to uphold the sanctity of mosques and surau in Selangor,” he said.

Local newspapers today quoted a blog, anginperubahan.blogspot.com, that Teo had entered the praying area of the surau during the ceremony to present aid to PAS members last Sunday.

The blog also had Teo’s picture standing in front of the praying room wearing a “kebaya” without a headscarf

Make sure Najib wears a saffron when visiting a Chinese temple, otherwise, the devotees will get upset.

My area we always use the surau for gatherings and even annual community meetings. Muslims & Non muslims are invited and have no problems with the committee. MAIS should stop politicising religion

Felda to punish lawyers over settlers’ suit

Ahmad said suitable action was being considered for the legal firm

Felda will take action against a legal firm which was involved in its suit against 354 settlers at Felda Kemahang 3 in Kelantan.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Ahmad Maslan said Felda was currently studying suitable action to be taken against the firm which had caused the agency to lose its suit against the settlers.

“The absence of the lawyer during the hearing due to technical reasons were very much regretted and has tarnished Felda’s good name,” he said in a statement to the media after the Umno Supreme Council meeting here today.

Yesterday, the Federal Court dismissed Felda’s application to review its ruling which denied the agency leave to appeal against the Kota Baharu High Court’s decision on Jan 13, 2008.

With the decision, Felda will now have to pay RM11 million in general damages and interest to the settlers.

Ahmad said it was feared the case would be misinterpreted by other settlers as the agency was now facing two other charges for manipulating oil palm grading filed by the settlers in Felda Maokil, Pagoh and Felda Gugusan Raja Alias in Negeri Sembilan.

“I would like to stress that the Federal Court ruling was not due to fraud or conspiracy committed by Felda as alleged by certain quarters,” he said.

Ahmad said every transaction was made in a transparent manner and the sales and purchase receipts were given to each Felda settler who sold the oil palm yield to the Felda factory.

“If they don’t agree with what was stated in the receipt, they should bring it up to the factory immediately, and not make a compilation of fraud allegations over a long period of time,” he said.

Hence, he also reminded the settlers not to be influenced by any quarters, especially those with personal interests, to file a legal suit against Felda

i smell something fishy here. rm 11 million is chicken feed compared to good publicity on 'fairness' of our judiciary system. the sceptic in me questions the absence of the lawyer is part of the grand plan

Felda should sue their own lawyer for failing to do his job, not sue the opposing lawyer.

PM wants input for Budget 2011

The prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has called for input from the public as he prepares for the country’s Budget 2011. Najib is expected to table next year’s budget in Parliament this coming October and he is calling for ideas or input from anyone through his blog in www.1malaysia.com.my. This would otherwise be a similar exercise he carried out the last time around. He said that he has since received some ‘wonderful suggestions and feedback’ from the people particularly from the younger generation and is now looking for more creative ideas.

He wrote that “For your feedback and suggestions, I thank you and invite you once more to share your ideas for the upcoming national Budget 2011. Let me know what areas of development you would like to see prioritised for next year. You are, after all, the generation that will be driving our country’s economy for the next 20 years.

The rakyat contributed hundreds of solid suggestions to the Budget last year, and a significant portion of the ideas were absorbed into that Budget. This year, we have unveiled the Government Transformation Programme, the New Economic Model and the 10th Malaysia Plan as measures that will chart the course for the nation’s development as we approach 2020. These measures also promote greater inclusiveness and emphasis on social justice so that no Malaysian is left behind in our steady march forward,”

Kelantan will sue Petronas on oil royalty issue

Datuk Husam Musa, the state executive councilor of Kedah said that the state government will be suing national oil and gas company Petronas this coming August 30 for failing to pay them the oil royalty owed to them. He said that the executive council made the decision during its meeting in Kota Bahru yesterday where they discussed the action to take against Petronas which the state had demanded for 5% of oil royalty from the federal government for oil extracted off the shore of the state.

He said “Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat will be present for the filing of the suit and he will later perform prayer of needs at the Federal Territory Mosque. The state government decided to file the suit on August 30 in the spirit of Merdeka, which is being celebrated the following day. The meeting only discussed the terms that should be mentioned in the suit. We did not discuss the amount, that is up to the court,”

Perkasa not interested to become political party

Azman Azha Abu Hanifah, the youth chief of Malay rights group Perkasa said that they are not interested to form into a political party and contest in the next general election and would like to remain as the rights watchdog in its capacity of an NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation). This came in the wake of calls from certain quarters for Perkasa to contest as a political party since they are usually actively critical of issues in the political scene.

Arman said “We are not interested in becoming a political party. The Malay rights group would remain a watchdog for political parties. There are more than 300,000 members in Perkasa presently and growing. Perkasa’s role was to go against those who disrespected the Constitution. We are pressuring them not to touch the federal constitution but other people are thinking that we’re ultra-Malay, they are saying we’re racist… but if you’re following Perkasa, we are protecting the Federal Constitution. Such issues had been played up by politicians for their personal agenda. Don’t make the Federal Constitution into a political agenda,” he said. He instead criticised both coalitions for “not doing their job”. Both sides are saying that they are fighting for the rakyat but what they’re doing, they are playing politics since 2008, to strengthen themselves by playing the Federal Constitution by playing the racist issue,”

He added that “The recent chain of police reports lodged by both the Opposition and the ruling party about its call for vernacular schools to be abolished meant Perkasa was doing its job. That means Perkasa is doing its job. If they are stron
he last election, both parties were talking about building up the nation. Please fulfill what you have promised… work as one government in the Parliament... outside the Parliament you can play politics… but please focus on the agenda,”

I did nothing wrong - ‘Doa’ recital sermon reader

Zakaria Ahmad, the khatib or sermon reader who came into the spotlight recently for having used the name of the Chief Minister of Penang Lim Guan Eng instead of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong during the ‘doa’ recital after the Friday prayers is adamant of his action and defending what he did, stating that in the eyes of Islam, it was not wrong although he admitted that the place and time of the recital might not be too appropriate.

He said “God willing, after this, I will say such a ‘doa’ at other occasions and places which are more suitable.” Meanwhile, Elias Zakarai, the president of the MAIPP (Penang Islamic Religious Council) said that the explanation provided by Zakaria was satisfactory and that “As for now, no action would be taken against Zakaria as he agreed not to repeat his action. We had informed Zakaria on the uneasiness felt and the implications of his action. He admitted committing it, promised not to do it again and would even publicly explain the matter for the good of all quarters,”

Zaid defends Nurul Izzah against her ‘attackers’

Datuk Zaid Ibrahim Federal Territory chief of the PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) has come to the defence of Nurul Izzah Anwar, the Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament, calling on the critics to stop attacking her after reports claimed that she has been bad-mouthing the country abroad during an interview where she allegedly commented on the NEP (New Economic Policy) and the poor quality of submarines here. She allegedly made the comments during an interview with a publication in Indonesia earlier this month. This was highlighted yesterday by the Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.

Zaid said “Senior cabinet ministers such as Minister of Defence, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Home Minister Datuk Hishammuddin Hussein should pay attention and spend time commenting on important national policies such as the New Economic Model, or the frequency of recent racist incidents, or why so many FELDA settlers are making claims in court from Felda. Can they also explain the process of appointment of principals in schools in the country that had led to them expressing their disgusting racist and fascist opinions can be principals, and without any action taken against them. Both the ministers said Nurul had smeared the country’s image and name. Even the police reports were made by people who do not have jobs. Nurul was allowed to only sing praises of the BN government, otherwise, it would mean that she is smearing the country’s reputation. The limited logical thinking is the cause of the problem. They do not know the difference between the state and the federal government. That is why public funds [are] used as BN’s funds. Nurul and anyone can and should give their views on the shortcomings and weaknesses of the BN policies, within the country or abroad,”

Najib trying to be ‘Pak Lah’ in being silent over recent racial issues

Leaders from the opposition front PR (Pakatan Rakyat) said that the prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was trying to ‘pull a Pak Lah’ for seemingly being frightened to speak out and remaining silent over the recent incidents which allegedly involved racial issues. The leaders said that Najib’s silence was similar to that of the former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi whom they claimed were ‘afraid’ of his own people in Umno during his time in office.

Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, one of PAS’ Central Committee member said “His silence only vindicates my claim that his greatest enemy is his own party. Just like what it was to Pak Lah so now, he is pulling a Pak Lah. I am seeing Najib going down that alley now because he seems to be in the same mode. He fears to reject his own party’s ethnic-based politics so he just keeps quiet, elegantly muted. It was an “understatement” to say that Najib feared repercussions from his own Umno leaders if he chose to put his foot down on the issues.”

Tian Chua, the chief strategist of PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) said “I get this impression.... He is looking more and more like Pak Lah in those days when he was so disorientated, disorganised and unable to get the entire Cabinet or his leaders to back his decisions. It looks like Najib himself is unable to protect something that was his direction for the country. Najib was trying to push his “grand concepts” of the New Economic Model and 1 Malaysia to the people without first convincing his own team of men. Actually, he does not even have his own team, whether within the Barisan Nasional or even worse, within Umno. Right now, it seems he has merely ended up singing solo and now other groups have taken the opportunity to become popular out of this situation,”

From the DAP, Anthony Loke Socialist Youth chief concurred with the claims saying that “Even though he has thrown out his 1 Malaysia, it is not understood by his own people, by his Umno leaders or even the civil servants. And the fact that even Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin had to mention to the Chinese papers that this 1 Malaysia should not be a solo affair, clearly reflects that even within Umno, Najib has no support for his 1 Malaysia. At the rate he is going, I am sure many more right wing groups will up the ante, keep pushing and provoking the racial peace of the country to the maximum. His failure as the Prime Minister to put his foot down and stop all this nonsense will only give a signal to these groups to keep going. I think that keeping silent is no longer an option. If he wants to succeed, he has to put his feet down and stop all this extremism,” Meanwhile, Lim Kit Siang, the advisor of the party said “Is he condoning these extremism, this spread of irresponsible politics of race and religion. His failure to do so would lead the country into a storm.”

Hishammuddin: Nurul Izzah bad mouthed country abroad

Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament from Parti Keadilan Rakyat, Nurul Izzah Anwar’s criticism of Malaysia abroad proved that their struggles were not accepted in this country.

Hishammuddin, who is also an Umno vice-president, said that after being given the chance to administer several states, the opposition pact clearly failed to win the hearts of the people to the extent that it had to go abroad to explain their struggles pertaining to national issues.

“If there are actually problems in this country, why the need to exaggerate them on foreign soil...what is the purpose?

“Does it mean that their struggles in their own country have failed to the extent that they have to go abroad to criticise their own country?” he said when approached by reporters at a breaking of the fast and handing over of aid to single mothers and orphans, here last night.

He was asked to comment on the action by Nurul Izzah, who is alleged to have issued a statement that affected the country’s image and integrity in an interview with an Indonesian newspaper recently.

In the interview, Nurul Izzah is alleged to have spread false information on the new economic policy and to belittle the capability of the country’s submarines.

Meanwhile on another development, Hishammuddin said police had obtained several leads on the incident where crackers stored in an abandoned house exploded in Kampung Makam Lama, Chabang Tiga, Terengganu.

He said Terengganu Police Chief Datuk Mohd Shukri Dahlan had informed him that the police had gathered several leads on the case.

In the incident at about 12.30pm yesterday, Khairul Arif Ayob, 6, died after the force of the explosion threw him onto a 15-metre tall tree and suffered serious head injuries.

YB Lembah Pantai has never bad-mouthed the country anywhere, either locally or abroad! However, I think she has regularly bad-mouthed leaders of UMNO/BN on those occasions that those leaders deserved them! Hey, this is different from talking bad about Malaysia! The people who really insult the country are those who are corrupted and who are milking the country dry to enrich themselves and their cronies!

So Nuzzul may be accused of badmouthing the nation abroad, but each time Najib, Muyhiddin, Hishammuddin, Rais Yatim and the likes open their mouths, whether at home or abroad, they show the world how far Malaysia has fallen in terms of the quality of its institutions and political leadership. They show a nation lacking in vision, excellence, character, teamwork, organisation and respect for its peoples and their cultures. I don't think its too difficult to figure out which is worse - to badmouth the nation abroad because there are fundamental evils and weaknesses in its political leadership and governance, or to make the nation sound bad every time UMNO leaders open their big mouth, either their own mouths or the mouths of their mouthpieces in the form of Perkasa, Utusan Melayu and the likes.

Is it worse to badmouth the nation for legitimate reasons or to merely open your big mouth and make the nation sound really bad?! I think Najib, Muyhiddin, Hishammuddin, Rais Yatim and the likes are worse as the mere opening of their mouths makes the nation sound like the failed state that it will soon become if they keep opening their mouths!

‘Doa’ using Guan Eng’s name – This bastard PM wants full investigation

Prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is calling for an investigation to be carried out by the police as well as the Penang Islamic Religious Council on claims that some mosques in Penang had replaced the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to the Chief Minister of the state Lim Guan Eng in their ‘doa’ after the Friday sermon and that if the full investigation discovers that the claims are true, then action must be taken against those responsible. It was reported that Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the Umno liaison chief of Penang revealed that the ‘doa’ recited after the Friday prayers in mosques in Permatang PAuh and Jelutong had allegedly used Lim’s name instead of the Agong.

He said “I ask that this matter be fully investigated; who did it ... as the delivering of Friday sermons is determined by the state Islamic Religious Council and people are not allowed to use our own script. What happened was clearly against the state Islamic Religious Council’s ruling and this should be investigated by the relevant authorities, and action taken in accordance with the stipulated procedures,”

Nazri hits out at Perkasa

Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department distanced himself from the loud and controversial statements made by Datuk Ibrahim Ali, the president of Malay rights group and the movement saying that what they say is not related to the BN (Barisan Nasional) in any way. He said “It is an NGO not supported by BN even though there are Umno members who have joined them. It is only normal for some members of political parties to join NGOs but it does not represent BN when it comes to racial harmony. Perkasa is entirely in opposition to what the Prime Minister wants to see in 1 Malaysia and I have said before – this body does not help us at all and I am totally against it,”

This came in the wake of reports where Ibrahim has been hitting out at the Chinese community for being ‘ungrateful’ and making ‘extremist’ demands and such. Nazri added that “It is not true that the non-Malays question the Constitution. They are only asking for what they feel they ought to have, that is all. Can it not happen when you want to just ask for something for yourself? It was often misconstrued that the moment a non-Malay tried to ask for something, they were questioning the special rights of the Malays. Like if a non-Malay student from a poor family gets 9As and asks for a scholarship, is it wrong?”

Ku Li voices support for Kelantan dinar

Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah (right) and Dato Husam Musa having ‘buka puasa’ with Persada.

Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah today appeared to back the Kelantan state government’s gold dinar and silver dirham currency, despite the uncertainty surrounding its legal status.

“I feel the Kelantan state government, which believes in [the dinar and dirham’s] potential for trade, should work and fight for it,” the Umno veteran said before breaking fast at an event organised by Kelantanese Persatuan Anak Darul Naim Selangor dan Wilayah Persekutuan (Persada) here.

The former finance minister said while only Bank Negara Malaysia could issue legal tender, there was nothing to stop the dinar and dirham from being used as a medium of exchange.

Picking up a small side plate, he continued: “That means we can exchange this saucer for whatever we want, on the condition that the person trading for the saucer accepts it.”

“The dinar and dirham introduced by Kelantan ... can be accepted by all, if we choose to do so.

“There are laws stating that only the Malaysian ringgit can be used as legal tender to prevent confusion among the people, but if someone wishes to accept the dinar that’s his right.”

Tengku Razaleigh, better known as Ku Li, added that he did not think it was wrong for people to want to use dinar and dirham among themselves as long as the syariah currency was not meant to supplant the ringgit.

“If people want to accept the saucer as a medium (of exchange) they can,” he said, going back to his earlier analogy, “but it certainly cannot be used nationwide”.

The Kelantan government had strongly denied that the dinar and dirham will be made a second currency in the state, claiming it will instead be used as an alternative in barter trade.

The Kelantan prince also said that the introduction of the dinar will not have an impact on Kelantan’s economy as it was merely a medium of exchange like any other.

“Whether or not the economy rises or falls depends on economic activity and not necessarily the medium,” he stated.

Kelantan paved the way to become the first state to introduce the gold dinar and silver dirham when it launched the syariah currency earlier this month.

Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat said the state will strive to expand the use of gold dinar and silver dirham in all transactions, including paying civil servants’ remuneration.

The gold dinar and silver dirham is managed by Kelantan Gold Trade (KGT), a subsidiary of Kelantan Menteri Besar Incorporated (PMBK).

Nik Aziz, who is also PMBK chairman, said to date 1,000 traders agreed to use the gold dinar and the dirham silver currency in their transactions besides Lembaga Tabung Haji and Bank Islam Malaysia.

Earlier during the event, Kelantan state economic planning, finance and welfare committee chairman Datuk Husam Musa urged those present to pay zakat fitrah (charity) using the dinar, citing the Quranic injunction to pay in tangible items and not promissory notes.

He stressed that gold and silver were “growing assets” whose demand-driven value would increase steadily over time, unlike the ringgit.

Husam also said that the Kelantan state government will launch an extensive and comprehensive dinar education programme after Hari Raya to ensure that its citizens knew of its mechanisms and benefits.

He added that the state government was looking to establish an exchange trade fund (ETF) for both the dinar and dirham in time to come to help boost state revenue.

Mahathir is a NATO. (no action talk only). He was the PM and could have allow the use of the dinar during his rule as PM. The dinar could have been used as an alternative currency in Malaysia but he chickened out. Mahathir abort the idea. So how can he sue Kelantan unless the judiciary again shows prejudiced judgment. Go on Kelantan, you can use it in the state even if the BN states are not in favvour. The Bank Negara is not stupid. They will say no and later UMNO will apply to use dinar which will be approved

Three police reports lodged over ‘doa khutbah’ issue

Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said police had so far received three reports over the “doa khutbah” (prayer during the Friday sermon) issue involving some mosques in Penang.

He said police were now investigating the allegation contained in the reports.

“There are those who say that the ‘doa’ during the Friday sermon has been misunderstood ... wrongly reported. So, we need to know the facts,” he said.

Meanwhile, he called for calm from all quarters over the issue involving the alleged use of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s name instead of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin’s name in the “doa khutbah” at some mosques in the state recently.

The Umno vice-president said any racial or religious issue needed to be carefully studied and handled to prevent deep-seated anger.

“Even a Friday sermon can become polemic, and I am very unhappy about this. But before accusing anyone, let us study it carefully. We should control our emotions before it’s too late.”

Hishammuddin, who is also Sembrong member of parliament, said this after a religious and breaking-of-fast function at the Ulu Belitong Felda land scheme, here, today.

Penang Umno liaison chief Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had on Thursday revealed the use of the chief minister's name in the “doa khutbah” the previous Friday in some mosques in Permatang Pauh and Jelutong

Penang tells Umno to stop politicising sermon issue

Penang today told Umno to stop politicising claims that Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s name was mentioned in Friday sermons, saying the Malay party should just lodge reports to police and the Islamic authorities for investigations.

Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Mansor Othman and state religious affairs executive councillor Abdul Malik Kassim however admitted that some prayer leaders had mentioned Lim’s (picture) name in the context of seeking Allah’s grace to get the chief minister convert to Islam.

However, they maintained in a joint statement that Lim’s name was never used to replace the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, as claimed by the state Umno and splashed in party-owned newspaper Utusan Malaysia yesterday. Another Malay daily, Sinar Harian, also carried the report by state news agency Bernama.

“Let investigations be conducted. If the allegation is true, we will not think twice take action,” they said, adding that only “insane imams” would replace Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s name with Lim’s.

Yesterday, Malik denied Penang Umno liaison chief Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s allegations that Fridays sermon in several mosques in the state had replaced the name of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin with Lim’s.

He said the state or the religious affairs department have not received or issued any directive regarding the issue.

Mansor and Malik today said “Umno’s dirty politics have tarnished the names of khatibs and imams in the state”.

“Some mosque committee members have backed Umno’s allegation by claiming that Lim’s name was indeed used in Friday sermons. However, his name was used in a different context where it was prayed that Allah would show him the right path for him [Lim] to embrace Islam,” they said.

They said the allegation was serious because it could incite anger and hatred between the different races in the state.

They added that the allegation also victimised Lim who had never gotten himself involved in the state’s religious administration.

“Lim Guan Eng was the first among all mentri besars to ban sports betting in the state. Is Umno holding a grudge against him because although he was not a Muslim, he humiliated Umno by being the first to ban sports betting which was legalised by Umno?” they asked.

Both PKR leaders also said Umno’s efforts to portray the state government as discriminating the Malays and Islam will not succeed as the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) administration had done more for the community than previous Barisan Nasional (BN) administrations.

They cited the doubling of allocations for Islamic affairs administration from RM12.3 million in 2008 to RM24.3 million in 2010 and contributions for the fasting month and for religious schools.

“Is BN and Umno angry that the Chief Minister is willing to attend Islamic religious events, such as the Ihya Ramadan contribution, Maulidur Rasul and organising breaking of fast events at Penang mosques which wasn’t done by previous chief ministers?” they asked.

I find this amusing. Even if LGE's name was mentioned in the mosque's sermon, who's problem was that? Was that LGE's or DAP's problem? Did LGE forced the mosque to mention his name during sermon instead of the King. Is anyone is capable of doing this?

Blind me?!

Many forget that Lim Guan Eng went to jail for defending a MALAY girl honor . Can any of the Malay ministers/ leaders claim to do so ? Instead they tindas the poor malay and sapu all the wealth that is due to ALL MALAYS . Shame on you !! Moreover in the holy month of Ramadan , tell lies and slander !!!

Only Selangor and Penang experiencing such daily attacks. So obvious. And please, if you want to sabotage others, use relevant and intelligent methods and raise matters of substance and fact, not open blatant lies and bluffs. You think we rakyat still living in the 1970s ?

If you are so ready to believe everything you hear without checking the facts, you need to ask yourself if you're a real Malaysian or not. For 50 odd years you have been living on lies fed to you by the BN Government.

Penang State govt ...please sue Utusan, Bernama & Ahmad Zahid Hamidi!

The money you will surely be awarded will be helpful for the poor in Penang.

Don’t try to be like Kit Siang or a ‘chinese warrior’ – Ibrahim Ali tells Soi Lek

The president of Malay rights group Perkasa, Datuk Ibrahim Ali has hit out further at MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek where he said that despite trying to act like a ‘Chinese Warrior’ like DAP stalwart Lim Kit Siang, he has failed to impress the Chinese community. Ibrahim was commenting on the recent polls that showed that Dr Chua only had 9% of the support from the Chinese community. Ibrahim said “I am not surprised only nine per cent of Chinese voters support Dr Chua. Reason – his pornographic CD. The Chinese have moral values,”

He added that “Dr Chua thinks that by doing so, the Chinese will forget his sex video. But he is doing more damage to the Chinese. Chua’s recent attempts to embolden the MCA had only succeeded in making the Malays angry with the Chinese community. Because now, the Malays feel the Chinese are being too demanding. Their demands do not reflect the social contract as agreed on before we obtained our independence,”

Saying that Dr Chua’s attempt to try and be like Lim Kit Siang as the “biggest joke of the year”, Ibrahim added that “If the Chinese reject BN, then replace (the BN) with whom? DAP? Then (there will be) disaster to the Chinese, to the Pakatan Rakyat. Can DAP work with PAS? Policy how? Anyway, good luck to the Chinese who forgot history and do not know the reality of Malaysian politics.”

Ibrahim Ali

Why do you talk the talk and talk the talk?? Sudah bosan lah with this fcuk wit.

Dr Chua may have been unfortunate to have been caught with his pants down, but at least he has the balls to raise such issues comapred with the the previous MCA 'yes men' Presidents.

Now, how about your PM - who not only kaw kaw main Altantuya, but got her killed as well. That is even more shameful and cruel.

Could you do us a favour and put a sock in your fat big mouth??

These ulgy jumping frog nothing good than a cloud of dust. Each time he utter his words seen like to have his one foot in the grave. He is only to put his nose out of joint.
