Hishammuddin in a written reply to Chua Tian Chang (PKR-Batu) said, of the 62 weapons lost, only 28 units were recovered, namely four semi-automatic pistols and 24 revolvers.
He added that 58 police vehicles had also been reported lost, comprising 49 motorcycles, three cars, a van and a four-wheel drive.
Chua had made a written request for the Home Minister to report how many logistic equipment, including vehicles and firearms, the police force (PDRM) had lost since 2001

Where is the other half? In the hands of Indon gang robbers? Or in the hands of triad?
with police losing such weapons, are we still safe to live in Malaysia? or are they sold to get more cash as police gaji is so low; it is time to double the salary of the police force!!!
