China Press given show cause letter

Share
The Home Ministry today issued a show cause letter to China Press over its exclusive report that Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan had handed in his resignation letter.

“The report has been verified to be not true,” the ministry said in a statement here.

It added that China Press had been given seven days to give a written reply to the show cause letter which was issued under Section 8A of the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984 (Act 301).

Under the act, action can be taken against those responsible for publishing false news including the printer, publisher, editor and the writer.

If convicted, offenders are liable to be jailed not more than three year or fined not exceeding RM20,000 or both.

The news report published today had said that Musa would retire on Police Day on March 25 and would be succeeded by his deputy, Tan Sri Ismail Omar.

Quoting a source, the report further said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein had received the letter.

Musa and Hishammuddin today had denied any truth in the report.

Yes, show these corrupted racist mudderfcukkers the third and centre finger !Also, ask them why no action against the racist toilet papers, Utusan Msia !

Why bother about reporting on him and getting into trouble. There are so many other newsworthy things to report on.

With Najib in Musa's pocket for keeping evidence linking him to Atlantuya's murder, he will get away with everything. Having a prime minister of a country by the balls, Musa can ask Najib to jump and Najib can only ask; how high? So long as Najib is still PM, I would not be surprise if Musa tenure be extended another 5 years.

The China Press's source could be a deceptor in the Home Ministry. By forcing China Press to publish a bluff, the Home Minister can take action against the sensational press and close it down. Alternatively, the source could be the IGP's men/ syndicates that are comforatble with Musa, who are trying to force the government's hand to once again extend the tenure of the IGP.

Only the criminals very happy at this news, they can continue to loot, rob and plunder us the poor rakyak while they use the polis to do politicking.

Dont play play with the IGP. Kerismuddin must do whatever IGP wants and now he wants the balls of the editor of China Press. He already has the Najib's balls. Wait until RPK tells the real inside story on this. Actually IGP was ordered to resign. Instead of resigning he sent Najib a bit of Saiful's shit and the Mongolian woman's blood. That sent shudders through Najib"s spine. By then China Press had already published the story and now to please the IGP, China Press is the scapegoat!

Hisappudin showing-off UMNOputera power as usual.Don't worry.........the news is true but news leaked out a week early. I'm sure this skunk is soon going to be our ex-PIG.
Even my toes are laughing......

If NST or Star were to have written any racist remarks are religious blasphemy against the Christian religion no action would be taken.

Now why make such a big issue about a false article in China press about a resignation? Hey stupid government the rakyat are not stupid not to see the double standards.
