Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, the wife of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has called on Malaysians to come out and support the national shuttlers in the currently going on Thomas Cup competition. Rosmah, who is the patron of the BAM (Badminton Association of Malaysia) said that the team has the potential to win the cup this time around and that the home ground support will play a vital role in ensuring so.

She said “Local fans should take full advantage of the tournament being held on home ground and come out in full force to support the national team. If we come together to cheer and pray for the success of our national team, I am confident that they will lift the Thomas and Uber cups”
