Najib dismisses Anwar’s challenge to debate

Share

The prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has turned down the challenge put forward by opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to a debate on the economy and its policies saying that there was no point doing so. Anwar threw the challenge after Najib claimed that the 100-day reform plan proposed by the Pakatan Rakyat was ‘unrealistic’ and was too good to be true. The call was made by Anwar to try and justify the plans and to clarify how they will be able to finance the proposals if the Pakatan takes over the federal government.

Before Najib dismissed the challenge, Khairy Jamaluddin, the Umno youth chief and Datuk Seri Nazri Abd Aziz, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department had both called on Anwar to debate them first before thinking of meeting Najib. He said “If we want to debate, there must be an outcome from the debate. I do not see one and what is important is public opinion. Both PR and BN could present their respective economic policies for the public to make an assessment.”

Simply put,Najib is just CHICKEN.....no guts (or balls) to have this debate. Unlike America, debate is to let the PUBLIC to decide who is more realistic.

Not just like what are represented by Najib & cronies......when these projects are implemented,it will be too late for anything...the monies ,most probably .will fall into the hands of BN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So ??? Vote these uncalled shabby characters out when the 13GE comes along in a not distant future.

Reporter: ' PM, will you consider to debate with Anwar?'
PM:' Waste of time only....'
Reporter: ' Why is waste of time? '
PM: ' I'm not sure, cause my 1st Lady said so....'
