Chua Soi Lek resigns from deputy president of MCA post, fresh polls most likely

The deputy president of MCA, Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek has announced his resignation which takes effect on Thursday. He will quit his post as deputy president as well as the member of the Central Committee. Apart from Dr Chua, 7 other members too resigned being Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha and elected CC members Datuk Gan Tian Loo, Datuk Dr Por Choo Chor, Datuk Tan Chai Ho, Datuk Chong Itt Chew, Datuk Tee Siew Keong and Loh Seng Kok. This will leave party president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat no choice but to call for fresh elections which he has been able to put off all this while. The resignation will add on to the recent letters sent in my Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai and 13 others
