Karpal challenges Zaid to sue him

Share
The national chairman of DAP, Karpal Singh has dared former deputy president hopeful of PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat), Datuk Zaid Ibrahim to sue him following the remarks he made at the recent Pakatan Rakyat Convention. Zaid who is the newly appointed president of KITA (Parti Kesejahteraan Insan Tanah Air) had threatened to sue Karpal for calling him ‘celaka’ and for being part of the parties responsible in causing the fall of Tun Salleh Abbas as the Lord President in 1988.

He said “Zaid is at liberty to sue me. However, he must be prepared to face the consequences of placing himself in the witness box. Zaid Ibrahim should be well aware, as a lawyer, in defamation proceedings one contends that his reputation has been lowered in public esteem. To succeed, one must prove, as a prerequisite, that he had a subsisting good reputation. That is the risk Zaid Ibrahim must be prepared to take. So we will see if he will sue me for calling him a snake, and I will definitely sue him for the lies he uttered yesterday. Thank God, I joined Pakatan... only by being with them does one know their true colours,”

The people will love to see whether this man Zaid Ibrahim would sue Karpal. Surely all the dirt and dust will be exposed. This is what we like to know who is the real culprit. We all know Karpal has been a fighter, otherwise why give him the title "The tiger of Jelution". Zaid as we know was from Umno, then PKR and now KITA. Let's wait and see the court drama should Zaid proceed to carry out his threat.
