Murugiah, supporters to join new party next month

Share
Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Senator Datuk T. Murugiah said today that he would be announcing which party he and his 157,000 supporters would be joining, early next month.

He hinted that it was a peninsula-based multiracial party which was a component of Barisan Nasional and that it had promised him the post of deputy president if he and his supporters joined it.

“My supporters prefer a multiracial party rather than a race-based party,” he told reporters when asked about his future plans. He had earlier presented degrees to 37 students of the Malaysian Management Science Academy (MAMSA) during the academy’s convocation here.

Murugiah, who was sacked from the PPP in June, further claimed that almost 90 per cent of PPP members backed him and that he had to meet their wishes in finding an alternative party suited to them.

He added that before making the move, he and and the president of the party they would be joining would meet Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to get his blessings.

Another split among for the majority of the indians. Good plan by BN.

You can join the Cinta Malaysia Party. This will be a better deal. CSL will make you the Vice President plus some China Dolls thrown in. Yes 11th-11 at 11 a.m is the best date and time to announce your grand entry as suggested by the Devout Buddhist Chai Ho. Burung Tiong will provide you a plane to fly you around free of charge except you must pay the fuel charges.
