Get your priorities right – DAP tells EC

Share
The EC (Election Commission) has come under fire from DAP for harping on trivial issues instead of getting on with the by-election at Bagan Pinang.

According to M Kulasegaran, the vice-chairman of DAP, "There are more pressing and urgent reforms that the Election Commission must undertake to win back the confidence of voters and Malaysians in general, There are a several key issues which the EC must give priority to in the Bagan Pinang by-election:

* Ensure that the electoral roll is clean and without any phantom voters.
* Ensure that candidates are allowed to campaign in army camps.
* Ensure that fair media coverage is fair and honest.
* Ensure that there is no abuse of government recourses and funds.”
It was reported earlier that the EC has called on the Pakatan Rakyat to register with the ROS as a legitimate party as only then they are allowed to put up campaign material like posters and banners, otherwise, it is the duty of the EC to remove them. Kulasegaran added that “The DAP opposes such unnecessary and undemocratic restrictions and urged the EC to get its priorities right . EC must be reminded that its most important role is to ensure an election or by election that is free , fair and clean. It must not complicate things or make things difficult for the opposition. EC's time and resources should therefore be spent on resolving the above issues rather than on imposing unnecessary restriction on trivial issues."

The Election Commission MACC, POLICE are part and parcel of BN.Nobody cannot this fact.

THE ERECTION COMMISSION IS A BULLSHIT AGENCY TO SERVE THE UMNO BASTARDS AND SON OF BITCHES WHO WOULD RAPE THEIR OWN DAUGHTERS/MOTHERS AND GRAND MOTHERS & AUNTIES TO GET WHAT THEY WANT:

"THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS!"

SO WHAT IS THERE TO EXPLAIN? THE SPR CHAIRMAN WILL ALSO DIE ONE DAY LETS SEE HOW HE IS GOING TO KICK THE BUCKET.......PEACEFULLY OR OTHERWISE....

EC should be made an independent body, with officials strictly elected by members of SUHAKAM, Transparency International, Bar Council, PIBG teachers, etc.
