Syabas is set to exempt the poor in Selangor from paying for their water for a year, according to its executive chairman, Tan Sri Rozali Ismail today.
He informed that their staff will use a survey to decide on who gets an exemption, as reported by Bernama Online.
However, he said the programme will be reviewed next year.
He said that poor families with many children have many burdens and were not intentionally failing to pay their bills.
