Perkasa only out to protect BN’s crony - Guan Eng

Share

Lim Guan Eng, the Chief Minister of Penang has hit out at Malay rights group Perkasa for attempting to protect crony politics for the BN (Barisan Nasional) instead of calling for action against corruption. He said that Perkasa has been selectively silent on recent issues where they have not made any comments on the failure of the government in resolving the Maika Holdings scandal, the PKFZ (Port Klang Free Zone) fiasco both belonging to MIC and MCA respectively. Perkasa also did not say anything on the missing RM52billion Bumiputera shares.

He said “Worse, is the biggest scandal reported by the US-based financial watchdog Global Financial Integrity (GFI) that illegal money outflows from Malaysia for the period 2000-2008 topped US$291 billion or RM888 billion. RM888 billion exiting the country over a nine-year period was equivalent to four times the national budget in 2011, and warned that failure by BN to “come clean” will only result in greater losses and possible bankruptcy in future. It appeared as though Perkasa was as influential as the ruling coalition, given the Malay rights group’s ability to “censor” key provisions in the Najib administration’s New Economic Model (NEM). What difference is BN from Perkasa when Perkasa can exercise such strong influence to completely sabotage the NEM? BN’s kowtowing to Perkasa’s demands showed up 1 Malaysia as an empty slogan that does not embrace the future but will drag Malaysia backwards with “fears and threats” instead.”

These Umnoised Malays will never believe the truth but prefer to accept lies put out by Umno. Many of them hold degrees up to Phd's from very questionable universities. Those who have gone to Yale and Harvard have only attended 3 month courses and unashamedly claim to have degree qualifications. An attendance degree and a fully earned degree are two different things. One is given to politically sponsored attendees and other a genuine one is earned by hard work.
So what do you expect from Umno moulded degree holders.Ask them to sit down and debate with you on any topic and you will know what I mean.
