The prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak made an eleventh hour attempt to woo more votes for the BN (Barisan Nasional) as Sibu heads for its by-election. He appeared last night where he announced that the government will be giving some RM5million to for the flood-mitigation projects in Rejang Park in the constituency.

He said “I want to make a deal with you. Can we have an understanding or not? The understanding is quite simple. I help you, you help me. If Robert Lau becomes the MP on Sunday, on Monday I will ask the cheque to be prepared” He told the crowd “Do we have a deal or not? We do! You want the RM5 million, I want Robert Lau to win. I came a few days ago and I felt like Chinese New Year because I have been giving out ang pows. But it is not because of by-election, but because we are listening to you,”

He is nuts trying to get RM5 million to lure votes. Doesnt he realise that Sibu is known to have the most millionaires and billionaries among Malaysians. Probably by adding TWO EXTRA ZEROS he might get it done but again anything can happen. Past records had shown that certain tycoons had thrown in huge sum of monies to rid BN off and place the opposition into place ! Again,as a PM , this has gone to show how much he is worth. How could any normal Malaysians believe in his 1Malaysia concept ? Rakyats of Sibu, wake up from your sleep and do the rakyat a favour. Dont waste your votes for nothing. Vote the opposition !!!


What an open and crude bribe, only in Malaysia, In any other country in the world the people will have rejected UMNO outright !

I say to the Chinese in Sibu, that if they accept this bribe, then for their children and thereafter, the Chinese will be forever discriminated. This is one chane for the Chinese to wake up and do the rightn thing for themselves and their children and their grandchildren.
