Saiful’s father tells Anwar to stop delaying and face sodomy charges

Azlan Mohd Lazim, the father of Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, the alleged sodomy victim of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has challenged the opposition leader to stop delaying the case and to face the charges set on him. Azlan said “Anwar had been making statements, claiming that the case against him should be dropped because there was no evidence. If there was no evidence, why is he going up and down the court appealing and re-appealing for documents and DNA samples?” The Court of Appeal will be sitting on Friday to decide if Anwar gets the documents and DNA samples used in the case for him to prepare for his defence while Anwar had also applied for the charge to be struck out. Azlan said that he is not surprised if Anwar attempts to delay the case for a longer period.
