PTPTN collects RM4 million daily from borrowers

National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has recorded RM4 million repayment of loans daily compared to RM2.5 million previously. Its president, Datuk Dr. Mohamad Shahrum Osman said the increment is a good sign that shows borrowers are now aware of the consequences for not settling their debt including stern enforcement action.

He said that the department usually received approximately RM2.5 million daily but the amount has increased drastically to RM4 million daily. PTPTN hopes that the good progress will remain the in the future.

According to Mohamad Shahrum, PTPTN offered various repaying methods to the total of 1.4 million borrowers nationwide to convenient them in settling the debt including counters in local banks as well as online banking services.

The government should apply AH LONG's method to collect debt. Sorry to say that but borrowers should remember to repay back whatever you borrowed. Luckily the government is not AH LONG, cuma mau TOLONG. But some of these borrowers seems to have TIDAK APA attitude to deprieve others of the opportunities to borrow. How many application has been rejected including myself. That's why I am very poorly educated because I cannot afford the fees. The Hell with those recalcitrant who don't want to pay back and may god let you rest in pieces. I will have throw you to the abyss.

govt says that the interest rate is 1% but you people are still charging 4%. the other 3% is so called service fees which is ridiculous. you see the govt says one thing and they are still charging 4% indirectly. you are all cheaters at the expense of the people on the road. is this how the bn govt cheat people.
