Datuk Shazryl Eskay Abdullah said today he expects the “Datuk T” trio to be charged this Friday over a sex video that he alleged had featured Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Shazryl, the key figure behind the release of the controversial recording, sent a text message to various media organisations today saying “Datuk T” would be charged at the Jalan Duta courts on Friday.
When contacted, Shazryl explained to The Malaysian Insider that he had been notified earlier today by Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik, who is also part of “Datuk T”.
“I received it from Tan Sri. He SMSed the details to me... but I do not know any other detail. Many people have been asking me about it for the last couple of days.
“I do not know what to tell them... the moment I received the message, I sent it to the media,” he said.
Shazryl also confirmed that all three members of “Datuk T” will be present in court on Friday.
“It is part and parcel of the whole thing. We did it and I think we should be charged. If the court thinks that what we did is wrong, we should be charged.
“So we shall be there... we must own up to it,” he said.
On March 21, a mysterious “Datuk T” had screened a video purportedly showing Anwar having sex with an unidentified woman.
Former Malacca chief minister Abdul Rahim, businessman Shazryl and Perkasa treasurer-general Datuk Shuib Lazim later claimed responsibility for the video, saying they screened the video to show “a man who wants to be prime minister is not qualified.”
Following a police investigation into the screening, the trio claimed to have surrendered the extant copy of the sex video to the police.

I think this guy has direct phone lines to the IGP, AG and the Home Minister.
He knows everything; the video were send to Korea and US for authentication, progress of investigations and finally when he is going to be charged.
He surely will also know the outcome of the impeding trial....
This must be the only country in the world where the accused inform the media that they will be arrested on a certain date so as to give some credibility to the 1Malaysia police that they are doing their job!!!!
