RPK’s son hospitalized after swallowing razor blade

The son of Raja Petra Kamaruddin, Raja Azman has been rushed to the hospital after it was reported that he swallowed a razor blade. The 34 year old is believed to have slashed his wrist in his prison cell in Sungai Buloh. According to Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Rahim Abdullah, one of the prison officers spotted Raja Azman lying motionless on the floor of his cell. Raja Petra, or RPK, the editor of Malaysia Today is believed to be currently in London and he wrote in his blog that his son had to resort to suicide as he can no longer take the torture he is facing in the prison. ACP Rahim declined to comment on the claims and said “We are investigating the case thoroughly. Give us some time as it is still in the early stages,”
