Nothing further on Umno-PAS talks

Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamad, the chairman of the Kelantan Umno Liaison Committee said that there will be no more further discussion about the so-called proposed unity talks by PAS with Umno because of PAS’ insincerity and that the Umno leaders are fed up with Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat’s inconsistency. He said “He would extend his gesture one moment, but the next, he would set impossible conditions. I think PAS is trying to make a fool of Umno,” Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, the president of PAS has refuted the claims saying that they have not been inconsistent but “PAS was just being practical. If we see that things are being done properly for the good of the nation, we will lend our support but if we do not see eye to eye on certain matters, we will give advice,”
