Teoh’s family wants MACC officers to be held responsible
Teoh Lee Lan, the sister of the late political aide Teoh Beng Hock said that the family wants the officers from the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) should be held responsible for Teoh’s death and that they want the prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to increase the number of members in the RCI (Royal commission of Inquiry) to probe into the case. She said that because Beng Hock died while in the custody of MACC, the agency should then take responsibility for his death.
She said she was ‘puzzled’ why none of the names which the family proposed to Najib were not selected to the RCI. She said “It is regrettable that the prime minister did not consult us nor accept the proposals made jointly by 126 NGOs before he announced the names of the commissioners. The royal commission must carry out in-depth investigations, for example, investigating what actually caused the neck injury on Beng Hock and the many contradictory testimonies of MACC officers,”

Teoh Lee Lan
Most of us here share your grief and the injustice served to your family as a result of your brother’s unfortunate death.
We live in Bolehland and justice has long been thrown out of the window by this BN regime. The judiciary is so very compliant, the police is nothing but a lap dog to dUmno and the Chemistry Dept and AG are filled with ‘yes men’. How does an ordinary citizen seek justice under such a scenario? The whole government machinery is a big joke and sucks big time.
This RCI is just a wayang to garner Chinese votes for the upcoming ‘buy elections’. Do you seriously think anyone would be prosecuted and justice served to your family. MACC was quick to investigate TBH for a paltry RM 2,400 and got him killed in the process. On the other side of the coin, RM 888 BILLION was stolen and the botak Mukhriz says no need for an investigation. Is this the reason why we elect such idiotic MPs?? This is 1Malaysia for ordinary folks like us.
Nevertheless, keep up the pressure and let’s see how far this goes and what crap they come up with.

I have no problems shaking hands with everybody, so why should Normala – Dr Chua
The president of MCA, Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek said that he will continue to push the party’s attacks on the Islamic-State agenda as proposed by opposition party PAS in campaigning for the upcoming by-election of Tenang. This came in the wake of the recent reports where MCA had criticized Normala Sudirman, the PAS candidate who refrained from shaking hands with the male voters during campaigning. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the deputy prime minister who is also the election director for BN (Barisan Nasional) has told MCA to stop harping on the issue.
Dr Chua said "If the DPM doesn't want us to talk about the Islamic issue, then he should communicate to us. There is no need for the DPM or the media to communicate this to us. When we talk about the Islamic state issue, it is something that's not new, it's not something that's extraordinary or something that we pluck out from the air. It's something that's based on the (PAS) constitution which clearly states that they want to set up an Islamic nation. As a Chinese-based party, it is my duty and I'll be failing in my duty and MCA would be failing in its duty if we don't explain to Chinese the true agenda of PAS, because (PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang) has said this very clearly,”
Dr Chua also pleaded ignorance on the hand-shake issue where he claims that as he is not a Muslim, he is not aware of the sensitivities and see no problems with shaking hands because it is good manners. “I have been in the public life for many years. It's part of the basic culture and manners to shake hands. So what is so great about that? That is your religious value which I don't know. How am I to know about the religious values when I'm not practicing that religion? For example, when I came in here, I shook everyone's hands. If I didn't do that, they would have said that I'm how lian (arrogant in Hokkien). But I have the right to say that it's basic manners to shake hands with people. That's my values. Understand? You also must value my value, which is good manners, which includes shaking hands,”

This Chua is trying desperately to win the hearts of the CHINESE for the BN candidate in this by-election, even to the extend of pitting so-called ignorance of the Islamic teaching for Normala's belief. Maybe he was not aware and ignorant in the first instant when he said that, but after the huge and cry following his remarks he still insists to bring up the same subject again, he wilfully says the same thing regarding Normala not wanting to shake men's hands then we can conclude that he does not respect the DPM's advise.
I therefore put this question to the PM and The Home Minister does not your coaltion partner MCA president is stepping on Islamic matter and is rediculing Normala? What are you two going to deal with this morally tainted adulterer Dr Chua? Have him be detained under ISA as he has caused much damage to racial and religious harmony among the different races! We the rakyat do not want this type of poltician in our midst. No wonder MCA has lost its creditibily through this Chua's conduct. What have the BN federal government going to do with this man, and what is the MCA members going to deal with this adulterer? My case rest.
Govt will not look into RM888bil illicit outflows claims – Mukhriz
Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir, the deputy minister of international trade and industry said that the government or the ministry will not need to look into the recent report the Global Financial Integrity that claimed that Malaysia is the fifth highest in illicit financial outflows amounting to more than USD291 billion or RM888 billion between 2000 and 2008 widely contributed by corruption and mismanagement of funds. Mukhriz said that there is no relevance in the report and its figures and that it’s claims were quite ‘bizarre’. Hence, there is no necessity to look into the claims.
He said "We do not see the need to look into it. If you go through the report, they have made quite a few bizarre claims against several countries. Going by Bank Negara's figures, we know how much exactly is going out so you can hardly consider those figures (from GFI) as factual.” His statement was in contrary to that said by Datuk Donald Lim, the Deputy Finance Minister that Bank Negara is actually investigating GFI’s claims which they will report to the public soon.
DAP stalwart Lim Kit Siang hit back at Mukhriz saying that “How could Mukhriz publicly contradict the prime minister and deputy finance minister's statements, even countermanding them by dismissing the GFI report as 'bizarre' and declaring that the government would not look into the GFI claims? Is Mukhriz' 'bizarre' dismissal of the GFI report ... a pre-emptive strike by (Mukhriz' father) Dr Mahathir Mohamad to forestall full inquiry into corruption and financial scandals under Mahathir's premiership? A full-fledged inquiry into GFI revelation of RM888 billion illicit capital outflows from 2000 to 2008 because of corruption and bad governance must involve re-opening investigations into the many corruption and financial scandals of the Mahathir era,”

Remember this man? HE came into the picture of the 'cabinet' lately as a 'deputy' but now is taking over the place of the PM who put him in , instead of Khairy Umno youth leader. This man Mukhriz now more powerful that the PM and the rest, telling that there is no need of an investigation of RM 888 billion outflow into foreign country. He istrying to shield his father Mahathir and his family members. It has been reported that the father, mother, sister and brothers including himselg have deposits in the Israeli bank, whem in fact Mahathir put a show of calling the Jews "ZIONISTS". What a double headed and double tongued man is Mahathir! Now his son Mukhriz is attempting to block any investigatin into this RM 888 billion question!
The rakyat wonder why Najib places him into the cabinet, knnowing full well the character of this person... who has ridiculed former pm Pak Lah. Like father like son. Surely this family has a lot of secrets to hide and can Najib is really willing to allow the investigation take root? Or Najib is also under the thumb of the old man, like in Singapore Lee kuan yew who is still the controlling 'factor'?
RCI’s scope expanded to probe Teoh’s death
The federal government has decided that the scope of the RCI (Royal Commission of Inquiry) on the death of political aide Teoh Beng Hock will be widened and will investigate how Teoh died after his body was found at the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commisison)’s office in Shah Alam. The prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had earlier announced that the RCI will only look into whether the MACC had violated its interrogative practices but he has since decided that it should cover the cause of Teohs’ death as well. Najib said that the RCI must complete its probe in 3 months before the report is submitted to the King.
Federal Court judge Tan Sri James Foong will head the RCI together with other members former federal court judge Datuk Abdul Kadir Sulaiman, former court of appeal judge Datuk Selventhiranathan Thiagarajah, consultant forensic pathology specialist of Penang Hospital’s forensic medicine department, Datuk Bhupinder Singh, and consultant forensic psychiatric specialist, Professor Dr Mohamed Hatta Shaharom, who is also Dean of the medical faculty of Unversiti Sains Perubatan Cyberjaya are also members of the team. The secretary of the RCI is Datuk Saripuddin Kasim, the director of the legal affairs division of the Prime Minister’s office. The three conducting officers are Amarjeet Singh Serjit Singh, who is Deputy Head 1 of the civil division of the Attorney-General’s chambers, deputy public prosecutors Awang Armadajaya Awang Mahmud and Kwan Li Sa.

Khusrin does not deserve state secretary post
Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad derided Datuk Mohd Khusrin Munawi’s capability as Selangor’s top civil post, saying the govenment officer was not qualified to be state secretary.
The PAS central political bureau member claimed that the former Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) director was only capable of antagonising the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) state government.
“Khusrin does not deserve to hold his post,” Khalid (picture) told a 250-strong crowd at a public rally organised by the Respect the Voice of the People of Selangor (HSRS) movement today.
“Khusrin’s expertise is to catch ustaz (religious teachers), close down suraus, close down mosques, block ceramahs, and make press statements about Pakatan Rakyat allegedly committing treason. That is Khusrin’s only expertise,” he added.
The PAS MP’s attacks against Khusrin come as the Selangor government plans to amend the state constitution tomorrow to break the impasse over Khusrin’s appointment.
Khusrin is known to have clashed with the PR state government during his tenure as the Jais director.
In 2009, Khusrin had barred Khalid from preaching, claiming that the latter’s sermons were centred on politics instead of religious issues.
On Wednesday, Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said the amendment to the state constitution would restore the powers of appointment of the state’s senior civil servants to the state and the Sultan, who will then act on the advice of the mentri besar.
Selangor Umno deputy chairman Datuk Noh Omar has said the state opposition will reject the amendments.
But Khalid Ibrahim said tomorrow’s emergency state assembly sitting was aimed at heightening awareness over the federal government’s alleged robbing of the Selangor Sultan’s and the mentri besar’s powers to appoint the state secretary.
Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaluddin (pic) branded Datuk Mohd Khusrin Munawi an Umno agent.
The Selangor government claimed that Khusrin’s appointment was invalid as the mentri besar had not been informed of the appointment.
Today, Khalid Samad accused Umno of attempting to sabotage the state through Khusrin’s appointment.
“I call on the people of Selangor to reject Khusrin and to amend the state constitution so that the rakyat’s powers are respected,” said Khalid to rousing applause.
He also claimed that Khusrin’s name was the last on a list of names recommended by the federal Public Service Commission.
“But this is the type of person that Umno wants to force onto the Selangor government,” said the PAS MP.
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan has said the Selangor constitution did not require him to consult the state government when appointing the state secretary.
Former Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaluddin also fired salvos at Khusrin today.
“He is an Umno agent sent to wrest Selangor from Pakatan Rakyat,” Nizar told the crowd as the rain pelted down.
“The state secretary in Selangor and Perak are obedient to Putrajaya even though their allowances are paid by the state government,” he added.
The ousted Perak mentri besar called on the people at the rally to defend Selangor from falling to Barisan Nasional (BN).
“We will tell (Prime Minister Datuk Seri) Najib Razak that you can do what you want in Perak, but you cannot take Selangor,” said the fiery PAS leader to loud cheers and claps.
“To destroy Umno’s villainy, I call on the people of Selangor to defend your rights,” he added.
Nizar was ousted from his post when three PR lawmakers turned independent and threw their support behind a BN government in February 2009, just 11 months after PR captured the state in Election 2008

That's easy! Whenever Khusrin attended meeting, just proceed the whole session in English so he just feel bored, and skip for the next 6 mths, then Datuk Teng will kick him out as SS
or...
How to sack, when he is paid by BN? I think better call election, get 2/3, change constitution and kick that fella OUT forever.
Guan Eng dismisses Soi Lek’s fear mongering
DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said the party was not worried that its rival MCA has been attacking the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) on the Islamic state issue.
The Penang chief minister also warned MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek against making personal attacks.
“MCA will be singing the same song saying that we are being used by PAS in order to win Chinese votes, but Umno will say PAS is being exploited by DAP,” said Lim at a press conference upon his arrival here.
“In Pakatan Rakyat, we are equal partners,” he added.
Earlier today, Dr Chua warned voters that PAS victory in Labis would only strengthen the Islamist party in PR, adding DAP has been powerless to curb PAS’s rising influence nationwide.
However, Lim pointed out that MCA has been attacking the party on the Islamic state issue since Election 2008 and said that DAP is not worried.
“We are not worried if MCA continues using the Islamic state issue, because they have been using it since general election 2008,” said Lim.
“What is more important is we are fighting for freedom, justice and democracy for all,” he added.
Lim claimed that even the use of the Malay language in the party has invited criticism from its opponent.
“Some even said DAP has turned Malay because we speak the Malay language. We are Malaysians. Why can’t we speak Malay? It is the national language,” Lim said.
On MCA’s attack on PAS candidate Normala Sudirman’s refusal to shake hands with men, Lim urged Dr Chua to let the matter rest.
“It should not have been raised. Dr Chua should not have made it a personal attack. That is Normala’s choice. We could make personal attacks too if we wanted to,” said Lim.
“I hope Soi Lek understands, we don’t want him to be hurt by his own actions,” he added.

Stop harping on ‘hand-shake’ issue – Muhyiddin tells MCA
Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the deputy prime minister has called on component party of BN (Barisan Nasional), MCA not to harp on the shaking hands issue on Normala Sudirman, the candidate from PAS contesting at the by-election of Tenang. MCA has hit out at Normala for refusing to shake hands with the male voters in Tenang.
He said "There is no need to go on about this. I don't want to prolong this matter. Normala has her reasons for not shaking hands - and that she has the freedom to do so - and that BN should not manipulate the issue. It is up to the voters to judge because she might have her own reasons. We in BN should not exploit the candidate's personal (reasons). That is her choice, but we leave it to the voters to judge. There are other main issues that need to be focused on (and) explained (in showing) our commitment to helping the people and the voters here."
He also commented on the recent ‘Interlok’ issue where he said "I want ask all of you: Who have read Interlok? I did... Nobody read it?... What I want to stress is that the government has decided on a formula to resolve this. I spoke to the prime minister just now, that in the BN spirit, we will discuss the matter with MIC. The formula will be revealed soon. We will have detailed discussions over the next two days. I hope that once this has been decided, there would be no more problems because what is important is that there is cooperation in BN,"

Islam does not allow women to shake hands with men. This lady, still does so, but with a gloved hand. It shows that she is practising a form of Islam which is tolerant!
Muhideen, on the other hand, is making fun of Islam. This is not the first time he is doing it!
The muslims in Tenang, will see through this apostate muhideen.
Muhideen just made the wrong move!
Umno had ‘conspired’ to limit Sultan’s power
The Mentri Besar of Selangor Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has slammed Umno for having ‘conspired’ to limit the powers of the state’s Sultan in the past which is the reason why the state government is looking to amend the state constitution to restore the royal powers so that he can have a say in the appointment of top civil servants for the state. Khalid said that the BN (Barisan Nasional) federal government under the leadership of Tun Dr Mahahtir Mohamad had in the past made the amendments without first consulting the Conference of Rulers.
He said “Umno took advantage (in the past), conspired and stole the powers of the Sultan… the amendments suggested today are to ensure no one dares to go against the powers of the state or the Sultan. The BN federal government in 1983, led by former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed, had gone against the spirit of the federal constitution by making drastic constitutional amendments without consulting the Conference of Rulers. This is where it began… the planned erosion against the powers of the Sultans in this country. Government leaders had at the time made several amendments by tabling it in Parliament without prior consent from the Conference of Rulers. Amendments to Article 66(4) and (4a) of the federal constitution whereby a gazetted law becomes official after 30 days even without the consent of the Sultan. Pakatan Rakyat wants to return to the original provision of the state constitution where there is a consultative space for all,”
