Military suspends ex-spook, denies Altantuya report exists
The Armed Forces denied today the existence of a report linking Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his wife to the gruesome murder of Mongolian woman Altantuya Shaariibuu, saying it has suspended the military intelligence officer named by Raja Petra Kamarudin.
Chief of Armed Forces General Tan Sri Azizan Ariffin stressed that Colonel Azmi Zainal Abidin had acted in his personal capacity and his actions had nothing to do with the force. The former deputy chief of the military special branch was transferred out to the army headquarters in January 2008, he said.
“The information given by Colonel Azmi Zainal Abidin to Raja Petra Kamarudin (picture) is false and has never existed in the Armed Forces’ possession.
“His actions are personal and has no relation to the Armed Forces,” Azizan said in a statement today.
The editor of the Malaysia Today news portal said yesterday that in 2008, Nik Azmi Nik Daud, then aide to Umno veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, had told him of a confidential report that proved that Najib’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor was present when Altantuya was murdered in 2006.
He wrote in his column that Nik Azmi told him it was in the possession of Azmi, then a lieutenant-colonel.
Raja Petra said that after the controversy from his statutory declaration based on Azmi’s claims, Nik Azmi told him that the report had been shredded.
“Sorry, no back-up copy. The report no longer exists. In fact, the entire file no longer exists,” the blogger wrote of what Nik Azmi told him.
In a press statement, Azizan said that investigations on Raja Petra’s claims will be held and be the basis of further action by the military.
He said that Azmi, who was redesignated to serve at the army headquarters since January 14, 2008, has been relieved of his duties pending the disposal of the investigation.
Raja Petra had given an interview to TV3, which was screened on Wednesday, where he said that he never accused Najib or Rosmah of being involved in Altantuya’s death.
He explained in Malaysia Today that he had given the interview to bring attention back to his statutory declaration, and called for Azmi and the alleged military report to be investigated.

RPK has lost all credibility and integrity and everything for something only he himself knows. Look what has happened to the Kol now. Don't ever trust RPK, the spin blogger and Malaysia Today. What you read today and may turn out the opposite tomorrow.
If the second ranking military intelligence officer tell you some piece of intelligence info, will you regard it as "hearsay"??? It is not from a coffee shop, by from an intell personel.
After the SD, it is the duty of the authority (in this case the police) should investigate, the genuine of the informations.
As that Lt-Kol Azmin Zainal be suspended from the HQ, this is highly indicated that this man should have know something and he did provide info to RPK. If not, why should he be suspended?
The most logical solution in clear up this case, is set up a RCI to probe on this whole case. This case involve a women lives and the credibility of our country's leaders, either from the BN or RR. And it also linked to our country arms purchase by the Defence ministry, which is a national security issue.
Guan Eng challenges Taib to ask for more
Lim Guan Eng closed the DAP election campaign tonight by daring Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud to demand the federal government quadruples oil royalty payments to Sarawak from RM1.5 billion to RM6 billion a year.
The DAP secretary-general said that the Sarawak chief minister “should redeem himself by convincing Barisan Nasional (BN) chief Datuk Seri Najib Razak to increase annual royalties for oil and gas from five to 20 per cent.”
“As the prime minister is here for a week to campaign for BN in the Sarawak general elections, Tan Sri Taib should take the opportunity to boldly tell him that Sarawak should enjoy a fairer share of the state’s resources,” he said on the eve of state polls here.
“What better occasion to fully utilise this opportunity than to demand that the oil and gas royalties for Sarawak be increased from five to 20 per cent to reward Sarawakians for their loyalty to BN as a fixed deposit state,” the Penang chief minister said.
Lim said it would prove Najib’s assurance that Sarawak BN has allowed Abdul Taib to “redeem himself for his failures in 30 years in power by offering something tangible for Sarawak.”
The opposition has gone on the stump during the 10-day campaign to accuse the Parti Pesaka Bumiputra Bersatu (PBB) president of widespread corruption and grabbing land belonging to natives.
DAP itself has consistently attacked Abdul Taib’s administration for enriching itself while leaving most of Sarawak’s 2.5 million population in poverty.
“With RM6 billion ... Sarawak can be the first state not only to wipe out hardcore poverty but also poverty in Malaysia,” Lim said in his speech here tonight.
The Bagan MP said that Pakatan Rakyat’s (PR) vision for Sarawak would include wiping out hardcore poverty, implementing open tenders, giving state land back to the people, providing infrastructure and handing out RM600 annually to all senior citizens.
“There will be zero corruption in Sarawak,” he said, adding that state contracts will be given out on merit.
BN controlled 63 of the 71 seats in the state assembly before it was dissolved but the Opposition expects to make significant gains in tomorrow’s vote, where it believes it has a chance of taking over the state.

He will not because LGE has only SRP certificate while Taib has Bachelor Degree in stealing and mating
Taib cannot learn anything. He is too old, arrogant and self-centred. He firstly has to be kicked out of the Government, and after that, kicked into JAIL.

najib mother fucker says glad truth out about Altantuya
Datuk Seri Najib Razak said today he was thankful that the truth had been revealed about allegations linking him and his wife to the Altantuya murder case.
Blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin said in an interview with TV3, which was aired yesterday, that he was merely writing accusations made by others against Najib and Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor over the murder of Altantuya Sharibuu.
“I’ve always considered the matter closed,” said Najib (picture) after launching the Seri Malaysia hotel here today.
“It was only an issue in the realm of the court of public opinion,” added the prime minister.
Raja Petra was yesterday quoted as saying: “I never accused the Prime Minister or his wife of being involved in the murder of Altantuya Sharibuu.”
The interview in Perth recently was conducted by a senior editor, Ashraf Abdullah, and aired over the prime-time Buletin Utama news programme at 8pm yesterday.
The transcript said the Malaysia Today news portal editor said he was pressured and influenced to carry the news by individuals who did not want Najib to take over as the country’s prime minister.
Najib succeeded Tun Abdullah Badawi as prime minister in April 2009.
It reported Raja Petra as saying his statutory declaration dated June 18, 2008 was based on information from these individuals, adding that a lot of people accused him of slander without actually reading his sworn statement.
In the statutory declaration (SD), Raja Petra said he received information from several individuals that the prime minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor was at the site when Altantuya was killed.
Altantuya was killed in late 2007 when Najib was then deputy prime minister.
According to the transcript, Raja Petra said he received the information from individuals linked to several politicians including opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. TV3 named them as Nik Azmi Nik Daud, John Pang and blogger Din Merican.
Raja Petra also mentioned that a military intelligence officer identified as Leftenan Kolonel Azmi Zainal Abidin also gave the same information.
The blogger, who is self-exiled in the United Kingdom, was quoted as saying that their task was to ensure Najib did not take over as PM when Abdullah stepped down.
Raja Petra also said all the individuals had promised to be witnesses if he was charged in court.
TV3 said it will carry the second part of the interview at the same news bulletin later today.

What truth? The truth is that Najib's & Rosmah's involvement in the Altantuya killing was not fully investigated by the police. Being a sitting PM smeared with such allegations, a RCI would be in the public interest to clear Najib's name once and for all. Who is RPK to clear him of the allegation? a magistrate? a lawyer" a High court Judge?
RPK is making a killing. He had lambasted PR calling it disunited and called Anwar an incompetent leader. I think he has cleared his return to M'sia w/o being harassed by Najib's police.
UMNO has always called RPK a liar and now they are taking his words? Funny if not stupid.
Since the Immigration records of Altantuya's landing in Malaysia had been erased, there was bad intention, by someone or group and murder had been in their mind. The big question who or whom, and we all know why she had to die. "commission"
bastard IGP...Police have sufficient evidence to identify man in sex video
Police have sufficient evidence to identify the man in the sex video implicating an opposition leader, Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said Thursday.
He added that investigations into the video were expected to be completed next week.
“We are now ascertaining, who is the owner of the (Omega) watch handed to the police,” he told reporters here.
To a question on whether the woman in the video had been located and interviewed, Ismail said the “police have managed to talk to everyone involved in the sex video”.
On March 21, newsmen were shown a 22-minute video, showing a man resembling the opposition leader, having sex with a woman, by a man who identified himself only as 'Datuk T'. He claimed the video was recorded on Feb 21 in a local hotel room.
Early this month, a 'teaser' of the controversial video was loaded on popular social video site YouTube.
The one minute, 47 second clip showed a man in a towel and a woman in what appeared to be a hotel room.

The woman they located is a prostitute. She only seeks money. Pay her RM10k, she will say whatever police wants her to say. Or threaten her with jail for violating immigration rules. Kow Tim. So what is the big deal about locating the girl? Stupid.
When every Malaysian are looking into other important matters, the fxxking IGP is only interested in fxxking Vedio. OK even if the Vedio says it is Anwar what you going to do, suck Anwar's balls. Please make more comments on the Vedio till BN lose the Two Third Majority in Sarawak. The People are fed up with yo Fxxkers
Ismail Omar,
Have you found Beng Hock's murderer? No?
Have you found Ahmad Sarbani's murderer? No?
All you do is what, downloading porn is it. Niamah you are just another Musang!
another project from najib and rosmah bastard....threatened or bought ??...RPK on TV3, explains his Altantuya stories
The pro-government TV3 station aired an exclusive interview with blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin tonight, where he claimed that he was merely writing accusations made by others against Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his wife over the Altantuya murder case.
“I never accused the Prime Minister or his wife of being involved in the murder of Altantuya Sharibuu,” Raja Petra (picture) was quoted as saying in a transcript made available at the private television station’s website.
The interview in Perth recently was conducted by a senior editor, Ashraf Abdullah, and aired over the prime-time Buletin Utama news programme at 8pm.
“In the SD, I related the tale that these people told me the story and they should relate it. And that the authorities should investigate and call these people in. That’s what I wrote in the SD. I personally did not make an accusation. I did not say I knew that the wife of the then deputy prime minister was at the crime scene. I didn’t say that. I didn’t make such an accusation. What I said was that people told the story and it was up to the authorities to investigate it further and for these people to come forward. And I named these people. I revealed this during the police investigations,” he was quoted as saying in the transcript in Bahasa Malaysia.
“I didn’t accept the story. Because I thought it was impossible. No way that the Prime Minister’s wife can go to the scene as it is in the jungle and I didn’t think she would climb a hill, enter a jungle in the middle of night, at 12 midnight. I thought that was impossible,” he was quoted as saying in the transcript.
Raja Petra was quoted as saying that their task was to ensure Najib did not take over as PM when Abdullah stepped down.
He said when he met Nik Azmi, he had asked the reasons for making the statutory declaration.
“What do you hope to achieve? He said Pak Lah will resign, if we don’t block Najib, Najib will be the prime minister, replacing Pak Lah,” he added.
According Raja Petra, he then asked Din Merican to get confirmation from Anwar.
“Din Merican contacted me back and said he spoke to Anwar and Anwar had given the green light. He said OK, this man is no problem, what he says we can trust. Anwar knows him well and he usually meets with Anwar.. this leftenan kolonel. And he has told many stories to Anwar about this issue. He said to proceed, I then proceeded,” he was quoted as saying.
Raja Petra also said all the individuals had promised to be witnesses if he was charged in court.
TV3 said it will carry the second part of the interview at the same news bulletin tomorrow.

wait... is the person being interview the real RPK?? or is he just another lookalike RPK that fake the whole interview just like datuk T sex scandal?
It is election time and sensationalism or everything is possible, but will it make a difference to what the Sarawakians think? I doubt so. The Sarawakians had made up their minds and the clips on RPK is not going to help. Sarawakians had really suffered for far too long and RPK is solidly behind them for change!
How tough you were, at last you have to bow down to the devil, in order to exchange for your freedom to stay in UK and to get your international passport renewal before you became illegal immigrant in UK. Just for a passport, you betray your own principle and credibility, Bye rpk, now you are a betrayer to your self and your supporters.
The true colours of RPK are emerging....no wonder they got the courts to release him from ISA detention. A BN mole and UMNO lover coming out of the woodwork. I never trusted him since he started blocking out from his MT website those who disagreed with his views.
MT readers can remember that, after March 2008, this man argued in MT that UMNO must be preserved, and on numerous occasions and in his writings he voiced support and admiration for Mahathir, despite all the foulest deeds committed by TDM and now well known to and realized by all Malaysians who oppose UMNO and BN corruption, racism and plunder.
All along I have reservations about this arrogant guy with a big mouth. I have been waiting for this day for this final confirmation that he is the mole from UMNO. After his meetings with UMNO people in London and charges were dropped against him in the court I suspect he was bought over. The the PKR bashings and MCLM episodes. Now this! Soon RPK will be home as a free man, hurray! I don't trust that Harris fella too judging from his face. He is too soft and lacks commitment. He will be home soon too. Nowadays you have to be very careful who you trust. Money talks and is King.

the toilet paper Utusan wants full sex video to be released
Utusan Malaysia wants a full and quick public release of a sex video allegedly featuring Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to stop speculation on the matter.
The Malay daily’s assistant editor-in-chief, Zaini Hassan, in his weekly column, said sooner — within a day or two if possible — the secretly recorded video was shown in its entirety, the sooner Malaysians would cease talk that may damage the government’s reputation.
“Let the rest of the video be shown... This is not a question of whether it is pornography. This has become an academic and Syariah question,” he said, pointing out that Syariah demanded that truth be upheld.
Zaini urged those who leaked a 107-second clip from the sex video to release it in full in the name of transparency, arguing that if they wanted to “strip” someone they should do so without reservation.
He said there had to additional footage from close-circuit television cameras (CCTV) of the man alleged to be Anwar walking into the hotel lobby and elevator before entering the bedroom shown in the video.
“Why only a minute? Release all 20 minutes,” he said.
“I will admit that I know the image from that one minute. If I am wrong, then I am wrong. I only saw it for a minute. If possible, to prove that I am not wrong, I want to watch the whole thing.”
If the video cannot be shown to the public, it should at least be screened to party leaders and MPs so that those who represent the people can make up their own minds, Zaini added.
He said if there was still no consensus on the identity of the man in the sex video after that, the recording should be brought before a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) like in Teoh Beng Hock’s case.

So what if the actor is Anuar? Najib is also screwing other peoples wives during his younger days....if he dares, you can ask him to swear in front of the Quran....
Tambi Chik hobby is screwing young ladies and everyone knows about it....so the question is no big deal if caught screwing in a video....
Utusan Malaysis, the most stupid thing to do. Malaysia has enough of stupidity that almost the whole world is laughing at us. Now with a sex video showing to the whole of country, it would be the most idiotic thing to do.
OK, which channel of TV will the show be done.
Honestly, UMNO had failed in its projecr to smear Anwar's name. Almost 80% of the population do not beluieve that the man was him. Most probalt it is one of the Datuk 'T'. Yes, one of them was an alleged sex maniac and suspected of raping an underage girl
MACC man now unsure he was last to see Teoh alive
Is this the Reason For MACC Inaction against Taib Mahmud?
The last man believed to have seen Teoh Beng Hock alive admitted today that he’s uncertain if he had actually seen the DAP aide.
The royal panel investigating Teoh’s death were told of this today.
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) senior assistant superintendent Raymond Nion John Timban also confessed that he told the police he saw Teoh at 6am on July 16, 2009, after he discussed the young man’s demise with his superiors.
“When you passed (MACC officer) Nazri (Ibrahim)’s room and you didn’t stop by that figure on the sofa, you weren’t sure that it was Teoh Beng Hock,” said Bar Council lawyer Cheow Wee at the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) today.
“Yes,” answered Raymond.
“And if it was Teoh Beng Hock, you weren’t sure if he was sleeping, had fainted, or was dead?” asked Cheow.
“Correct,” answered the senior graftbuster.
Raymond told the RCI last week that he had seen Teoh lying down on a sofa in front of Nazri’s room at the then Selangor MACC headquarters, hours before the political secretary was found dead.
Teoh, 30, was found sprawled on the fifth floor corridor of Plaza Masalam in Shah Alam on July 16, 2009, after he was questioned overnight by MACC officers at their then Selangor office on the 14th floor.
Teoh was the political secretary to Selangor executive councillor Ean Yong Hian Wah at the time of his death.
The anti-graft officers were investigating a claim that his boss was abusing state funds.
Cheow suggested that the MACC had used Raymond to mark the time he last saw Teoh alive before the latter’s mysterious plunge.
“I put it to you that you were the most suitable person as a time marker in this case. You were in the office. You weren’t involved in operations,” said the criminal law specialist.
“No,” answered Raymond, 40.
“The story that you saw Teoh Beng Hock at 6am was after you discussed with other officers and superiors when you came back to the office?” asked Cheow.
“Yes,” said the anti-graft officer with a small, curly ponytail.
“I put it to you that you testified earlier that you saw Teoh Beng Hock at 6am to coordinate with other officers,” said Cheow.
“No,” Raymond answered.
The senior graftbuster, who served the Selangor branch in 2009, also admitted that he had never seen Teoh face to face or talked to him.
“You only saw a black and white picture (of Teoh with MACC investigating officer Mohd Anuar Ismail),” said Cheow.
Raymond agreed and said he only gave a cursory glance when Anuar showed him the picture on the evening of July 15, 2009.
Raymond, who has served the anti-graft body for over a decade, noted that it was dim when he saw a Chinese man lying on the sofa in the MACC office.
“You only saw at a glance someone lying there?” asked Cheow.
“Yes,” replied Raymond.
“From 3.30 till 6am, no one saw Teoh Beng Hock?” asked Cheow.
“No,” Raymond answered.
Nazri testified last month that he had recorded Teoh’s statement at 3.30am on July 16, 2009.
Raymond, now serving at the Sarawak MACC branch, also said today that his former colleagues did not mention seeing Teoh at 6am that day.
“Besides you who saw Teoh Beng Hock, who else said they were the last (to see Teoh)?” asked Cheow.
“No one said they were the last to see,” answered Raymond, who was dressed in a black suit today.

Deepak to sue if RPK returns...why be a summons, if not guilty...????
Businessman Deepak Jaikishan says he will sue fugitive blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin if the latter returns to Malaysia.
The businessman in his 30s held a press conference yesterday to respond to a series of articles in Malaysia Today implicating him in private investigator P. Balasubramaniam’s controversial statutory declarations.
Raja Petra is better known as the founder and editor of the online news portal Malaysia Today.
Deepak said he would not hesitate to “hire the best lawyers” to take Raja Petra to court if he was back in the country.
“Otherwise, I will consider taking legal action against him in UK,” he said, adding he was also looking into lodging a police report.

Rosmah's gigolo Deepak: I paid RM50k to RPK to remove blog
Deepak Jaikishan, linked by self-exiled blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin to the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder as well as questionable business conduct, has turned the tables on the blogger, calling him a blackmailer extraordinaire.
“I paid him RM50,000 and gave him a Sony laptop to have a story about me removed from (his blog) Malaysia Today. I can prove it,” Deepak told a press conference in Kuala Lumpur late yesterday evening.
Contacted by email, Raja Petra – who is based in London – immediately denied the allegation.
Deepak claimed that this had happened nearly three years ago when the first blog-post naming him as being involved in dealings with premier Najib Abdul Razak and wife Rosmah Mansor was published by Malaysia Today, operated by Raja Petra or RPK as he is popularly known.
Deepak, who heads a property investment firm, claimed that RPK removed the post after money changed hands.
He disclosed that he paid off the blogger through a mutual friend after arranging to meet RPK in a Japanese restaurant in Subang.
“Malaysia Today is the perfect platform to extort money,” he said, also claiming that RPK’s modus operandi is to blackmail and extort money from people on whom he has dug up dirt.
Asked why he had decided to pay up, Deepak said he had felt pressured as “no one would want to have stories about them, no matter how untrue, on a site like Malaysia Today”.
“Would you want stories or photos about you or your family on Malaysia Today?” he asked.
Deepak also claimed that others – who he described but did not name – had similarly paid off RPK to silence him:
- A once-promising young politician, a son-in-law to a former premier had his ‘chronicles’ removed after a huge sum of money was paid; and
- A Young Turk who made it big in the business world and was friendly to starlet Paris Hilton paid something to the tune of RM1 million.
Asked if this revelation has been timed for the Sarawak election, Deepak denied this.
“What I am doing is insignificant to the Sarawak election,” he said.
He said he has been forced to act because RPK’s recent attacks against him have impinged upon his character and business reputation.
“He is attacking me because he received money from my business rivals. I have to protect my business and my family. There is nothing political in his attack against me. He is desperately looking for a story, and I will not be that story.”
Deepak said that he intends to lodge a police report against the blogger some time this week, and is mulling legal action in the form of a defamation suit against RPK in Malaysia, London or Australia.
“I am talking to my lawyers. If I do not make him a bankrupt, then my name is not Deepak,” he vowed.
Deepak added that he has proof to back all his claims and is not afraid to answer any challenge in court.
“If I am wrong, he can sue me. But these are all facts that I can prove,” he added.
RPK’s response
In an email response to Deepak’s allegation, RPK wrote: “Deepak has made these allegations against me. I deny them.
“Since Deepak has dragged others into this then it would be appropriate for these ‘others’ to either confirm or deny Deepak’s allegations.
“If they are unable to and Deepak pursues the threatened action against me then he does so at his peril.
“In the meantime why doesn’t Deepak actually deal with the issues at hand? He is trying to distract attention away from them by these silly threats against me.
“He should know by now that I am always ready for a fight. So let’s see how he addresses the real issue.
“Why were you (Deepak) involved in getting (private investigator) P Balasubramaniam out of the country and paying him to stay away? Who asked you to do this? This is the issue at hand.”

‘Defamed’ Deepak calls RPK a ‘blackmailer’
Property and carpet dealer Deepak Jaikishan has accused Raja Petra Kamaruddin of being an expert “blackmailer”.
He said the popular blogger only removes defamatory postings on his Malaysia Today website after affected individuals paid money.
Deepak alleges he paid to get Raja Petra to remove an article about him.
“Even I paid a common friend 50,000 and 1 new sony laptop to get my article “removed” from Malaysia Today when I met him.
“RPK had evolved from the nationalist blogger to a blackmailer who used the Internet to collect money and laptops from all those who feared (he would write about them)...I too was one of his victims,” the businessman said in a statement sent to The Malaysian Insider.
“(Every) comment in his blog is paid for to be viewed or deleted, no wonder RPK is referred to the “web prostitute,” he added.
Deepak came out this month and accused Malaysia Today articles about him were lies and slander, months after their publication.
The businessman has rubbished the website’s claims that he had played a key role in silencing private eye P. Balasubramaniam in the 2006 sex-murder scandal of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu; and in Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s ongoing sodomy trial.
In an article, headlined: “Carpetman, bagman, toyboy has been bagged”, London-based Raja Petra weaves a titillating tale that casts the 30-something Jaikishan as a corrupt puppetmaster who had engaged in sexual relations with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s wife-Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor but who had fallen from grace after he went to town predicting Najib’s political downfall in July.
Jaikishan has denied the blogger’s claims, and said that he treats Rosmah as an older sister.

If there is no truth why is one so afraid of being blackmailed???
In the beginning I had the impression that Deepak was a Sharukh Khan lookalike toyboy, but now I see just a chubby shorty. Perfect match for FLOM it seems.
Just a question Deepak. Why are people like RPK and Bala who had said sworn things that were detrimental to Najib and Rosmah, living their lives in exile or would put their lives seriously at risk if they were to come back, while you continue to enjoy your freedom to eat until you look like you're getting fatter by the day?
And where are your blardy proof that you have paid RPK off to remove postings, while Bala has all the cheques issued by you to show for it ? Are we expected to believe you ? You must think we are really stupid or what?
Anwar says financial tricks propping Taib, cronies
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim continued his Sarawak campaign today by accusing the Barisan Nasional (BN) of operating a slush fund to finance Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his cronies.
The PKR de facto leader questioned the financial dealings between the 1 Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), UBG Berhad and Saudia Arabia’s PetroSaudi International and asked for an inquiry to investigate the matter.
“The financial statements strongly suggest that 1MDB’s financial merry-go-round is clearly a political slush created by the BN and Najib to enrich cronies and bail them out,” Anwar said in a statement.
He also repeated his accusation that BN was practising “political bribery” for the Sarawak election this Saturday.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak set up the 1MDB from the earlier Terengganu Investment Authority. The government strategic development company is involved in several high-profile ventures apart from giving out scholarships.
According to the Information Department, the prime minister is scheduled to attend a meet-the-people event in Kuching tonight that is organised by 1MDB.

DAP releases postal vote tampering video
DAP released a video clip purportedly showing four women handing over their postal votes to a man at Wisma Sanyan here yesterday.
The one minute clip shows a be-spectacled man receiving what looked like postal ballot papers from four women who had just picked them up from the Election Commission.
The video, which was released at the DAP’s daily press conference, here, showed the women handing over the ballots to the man in a stairwell at the iconic building, which is the tallest in Sibu.
Postal voting proper only got underway at 9am today.
The five were caught unawares while they were being filmed by a DAP polling agent. They immediately dispersed when they saw the party worker filming them with his camera phone.
A screenshot of the "supposed" vote tamperers being caught on camera.
The man attempted to block the DAP agent’s view of the women as they ran out of the stairwell.
Mary Josephine Pritam Singh, a DAP election worker, said the incident occurred between 12.30pm to 1pm.
She and a team of party polling agents had gone to Wisma Sanyan to monitor the distribution of postal votes by the Election Commission. The party worker who filmed the episode was part of her team.
No money was seen exchanging hands during the meeting.
According to EC regulations, postal votes are picked up a centre and the voter may take them home to fill them up. Each postal vote is a package that contains two envelopes, a form and the ballot paper itself.
The voter is supposed to mark the ballot, fill out the form, seal the envelopes and return the package to the EC.
The women in the video were purportedly handing over the orange-coloured ballot papers to the man. It could not be ascertained what the man intended to do with the papers

Bomoh Stella is Robert Geneid’s Cousin – Exclusive on Mahmud Family Crisis!
Geneid manipulates Taib through his blond, botoxed Bomoh, Stella, who caused a sensation when she appeared at the Chief Minister’s nomination last week. She is none other than Geneid’s own cousin!
"Whoever controls the Bomoh controls the Chief Minister", according to family members. Stella is Robert's cousin.
These extraordinary revelations have been passed to Sarawak Report from right within the Mahmud family’s inner sanctum.
Years of concern, seething rivalry and jealousies surrounding the manipulations of Geneid, the husband of Taib’s younger sister Raziah, have suddenly broken to the surface under the stress of the election campaign.
‘Senile’ and under the influence of Raziah, Robert and Stella!
An early sign was the outburst of Taib’s own cousin Salleh Jafarrudin, who chastised the Bomoh and her two companions during the nomination in Balingian last week.
Salleh complained about 3 bomohs. However, those in the know say that only Stella and the woman on the far left are Bomohs. The lady in the middle is a close friend of the lady on the left and this was their first public appearance.
Although formerly a BN Minister himself, Jafurrudin has become a surprise independent candidate, throwing his cap into the ring in Taib’s own constituency as part of a last ditch attempt by Taib’s own family to prevent him continuing as Chief Minister.
In front of the media Salleh shouted:
“Do you want to put a spell on me?!”
Later he explained to journalists that he is trying to save Taib from his Bomohs:
Aunty Kharleen (Stella) - part of the family as she poses with the Geneids in Monaco
“We want to save Sarawak from being ruled by a leader who has completely succumed and surrendered, his mental faculties, spiritual and natural physical capabilities to the influence of foreign witchcraft apparatus currently encircling him”
Outburst by Salleh Jafarrudin, Taib's own cousin on nomination day - hint of revalations to come!
Now Sarawak Report has been sent a dossier of astonishing information, penned by some of Taib’s other closest relatives.
They make clear that their view is that enough is enough and that the truth about Taib’s failing condition must be made known to the people.
Above all they say they are putting their country before their family interests in attempting to warn voters against allowing the rapacious rule of Raziah and Robert Geneid and their string of Bomohs to carry on. Yet another close relative has told us:
“Taib is senile and under the control of Raziah, Robert and Stella!”
Cheerleading - Razia claps and favourite daughter Hanifah looks on, but much of Taib's family think he should have stepped down.
Najib has been proved powerless
It has been made clear to Sarawak Report that these issues have long been an open secret among BN’s top circles, who have watched the visible degeneration of the sick and elderly Chief Minster, particularly since the death of his first wife Laila in early 2009.
He himself has been treated for bowel cancer, which has devastatingly weakened him.
However, the situation has been kept under wraps by inner family members led by the Geneids, who have moved in to profit from their control over Taib. In just a few years Razia and Robert have alienated vast areas of Sarawak’s land into companies they own and insiders say they have accumulated billions in profit.
The Prime Minister, who is desperately campaigning in Sarawak for the whole of the last week of the election, knows that his own political future depends on BN keeping hold of Sarawak. However, at the same time he is being forced to promise supporters and voters alike that he will be getting rid of the old man as soon as possible after the election.
Yesterday’s attempt at reassurance was hardly impressive!:
“I have spoken to him. The Chief Minister has promised there will be a succession. Believe me, when the time comes it will happen!”
1995 - Fifteen years ago Taib said the same thing! And BN want us to believe he is going soon?
The commitment has given the opposition full licence to challenge the PM to provide a date and name a successor, meanwhile reminding voters that Taib made the same promise in 1995!
The situation was not helped by Taib’s own version of events today, made in public and in front of his boss the PM.
“I appeal to the younger generation, your time will come. When I quit in a few years, I hope the younger generation will support my successor!” he waffled, providing the opposition parties with a week’s worth of questioning!
The truth is that if Taib does win the PM will be more powerless than ever to force his removal and Sarawak will be plunged into several more years of rule by bomohs and the Geneids. This is why so many insiders are now desperately speaking to Sarawak Report and also why all the news out of KL is that BN bigwigs are still pressuring Najib to get the old man to quit!
1995 - Fifteen years ago Taib said the same thing! And BN want us to believe he is going soon?
There is another, hugely embarrassing aspect to this awkward affair. Voters will also be aware of the fact, already exposed by Sarawak Report, that Taib’s young new wife Ragat, who has immediately become a central figure, is also a direct relative of Robert Geneid. Given the new revelations it emphases the level of control exerted by this couple over the running of Sarawak.
Devastating dossiers handed to Sarawak Report
Revealingly the papers expose the level of panic and lack of self-confidence felt within inner circles about BN’s chances in this election, after so many years of victory.
One paper entitled ‘Datuk Raziah’s Bomoh List of BN Candidates’ begins by admitting that “DAP, PKR, SNAP and Independent candidates are better prepared” than BN.
The paper goes on to claim that “the 2011 Sarawak BN candidates were decided by Datuk Raziah’s Bomoh, Stella Tashman and her partner [Robert Geneid]”:
“Pehin Taib, after so many years of doing the same thing and trusting Datuk Raziah, Dato Robert Geneid and their bomohs more than anyone else, only formalised the process. This is a great pity because the candidates were not chosen primarily based on their ability and their performance during their years of service as DUN, or because they were chosen by the supporters in BN is to keep hold of and protect the huge tracts of land and the possessions that they have taken from the state”.
The insider reflects and confirms many of Sarawak Report’s recent exposes by saying:
“What about Pehin Taib’s Cahya Mata Sarawak, PPES group of companies and his son, Mahmud Abu Bekir and Mahmud’s nominee and partner, Chris Chung, who now have in their collection of grabbed estates and land hundreds of thousands of acres of land belonging to the people of Sarawak? Don’t they too have a strong reason to want to make sure the selected BN candidates will protect what they had grabbed throughout these years?”
Among the candidates criticised by the insider are the candidate for Tupong, Daud Abdul Rahman and for Lambir, Ripin Lambat. The author of the dossier confirms the rumours that the candidate list was vetted by Stella, which created last minute delays. It is also claimed that “Semoi Peri, who had already expressed her wish not to stand, was pressured to stand agains for reasons known to Raziah’s Bomoh….Datuk Zul Philip, candidate for Jepak was not expected to be chosen, but somehow his name was confirmed to stand by the Raziah Bomoh list. All these years he is one candidate who has never failed to show his face close with Pehin and Datuk Raziah “.
The feud with Salleh Jafarruden
The dossier also provides family-level insights into the extraordinary decision by Taib’s cousin Salleh Jafarruden to fight against the Chief Minister in his own constituency. It explains that Jafarruden had written three letters to Taib to try to help work together to solve the problems within BN because he was according to the dossier:
“Very concerned about the increasing destructive influence of Datuk Raziah, her husband Robert Geneid and their Black Bomoh [Stella]. Compounding the issue was the Lebanese Bomoh is a cousin of Dato Robert Geneid and she lives in Dato Raziah’s house within Pehin Taib’s residence as her second home. Salleh and his emissary simply intended to help salvage damage from deteriorating further. [But], because Taib was heavily influenced by Datuk Raziah, her husband and their Bomoh, Taib simply chucked aside any advice”.
The dossier continues:
“He [Salleh] was a gentleman opponent who actually wanted to advise Pehin Taib that he was most prepared to assist him in minimizing some of the damage arising from the greed by people like Datuk Raziah and her husband…. Of course he never received any response to the letters he sent to Taib.”
The informant goes on to explain that the couple and the Bomoh are now conspiring to control who takes over from Taib.
“They want and they do whatever it takes to get the Minister of Planning, Dato Amar Tengah Awang Tengah to take over from Taib, so that they can continue to grab money. Awang is commonly known to be at Dato Raziah’s beck and call whenever she wants something from the State Government”.
New favourite, new house. Anwang Tengah is preparing for the top job!
The account goes on to provide an extraordinary insight into the tiny family cabal that was responsible for drawing up BN’s candidates. It reveals that Taib’s inner circle goes little beyond the unelected Geneids and their Bomoh!
“Little wonder, therefore that Dato Amar Awang Tengah was the only one privy to the meeting with them hours before Taib appeared at the PBB HQ for the State Election Candidates List Announcement”
Such revelations from close Mahmud family sources can only add to the sense of decay and impending disaster that has surrounded the BN campaign as it enters its last week. The insider sums up the situation that has forced Taib’s cousin to run in Balingian:
“Salleh.. realised the growing danger of the people surrounding Taib and the increasing damage to the Sarawak State if things continue unabated and remained uncorrected. Greed and Bomoh are a very lethal combination to any leader. Salleh decided to fight Taib only after he realised there is no way any concerned Rakyat or family members can make Taib listen”
The Geneid family's award-winning market fruit stall in Australia
Who is Robert Geneid?
The extraordinary evidence coming out of this series of inside revelations is that the real power behind the throne in Sarawak is now the third husband of Raziah Mahmud, Robert Geneid.
The couple have long been a force in the state. Virtually penniless at the outset of their marriage they are now worth billions of ringgit, thanks to huge state contracts and concessions put through their companies by the Chief Minister, many of which have already been documented by Sarawak Report.
Lands totalling well over 70,000 hectares have been handed over to the Geneids in the past few years alone – an area greater than the area of Singapore.
The couple present a gift to Prince Albert in Royal Mulu Resort as disposessed tribespeople look on
Many of these land titles have intruded on Native Customary Rights Lands and the mean and ruthless way in which the couple have attempted to force through ownership has resulted in a good number of the 200 plus land disputes now going through the courts.
High profile cases have included the current prosecution of Numpang Suntai in Simunjan, who has been leading protests against the forced purchase of his community lands for a mere RM 250 per person by the company Quality Concrete. Raziah was the original recipient of the land title and is a Director of Quality Concrete. The value of the wood in the area alone is estimated at hundreds of millions of ringgit!
This issue more than any other is now threatening BN’s continuing political survival.
Geneid is the son of a Lebanese born Australian fruit vendor, based in Sydney. Raziah had made little from her opportunities before he became her third husband and insiders say that she was always short of cash.

After, the situation soon changed as he moved to maximise the opportunities provided by her connections with Taib. Like, a number of Taib’s son-in-laws and brother-in-laws he has picked up key positions in the family companies.
Although one ill-conceived roofing venture had lost the state/family company CMS some RM45 million he was brought into the senior position of Managing Director of Property Development for the company, giving him a central role in the management of the multi-million ringgit conglomerate mainly made up of assets privatised from the state.
The Geneids also spearheaded the controversial Royal Mulu Resort development, which alienated the lands of the Berawan tribe into the Taib family company and they control Miri Property Holdings, another substantial hotel chain.
Key players - Raziah and Robert Geneid (right) on the stage with Taib, Najib, Rosmah and Prince Albert at the Islamic Fashion Show in Monaco!
Kumpulan Parabena, a construction company that has received numerous state contracts, is also controlled by the Geneids. Millions in state contracts have passed through its hands, although most of its work consists of the lucrative sub-contracting of projects handed to them by Taib and there has been little if any evidence of direct construction work.
Aside from the vast areas of timber and plantation concessions that have equally passed profitably through the couple’s hands, Geneid also controls several thousand hectares of current plantations through companies such as Miracle Harvest.
Geneid is now on the Board of Malaysia Tourism, while Raziah is on the Board of Sarawak Tourism, the Borneo Convention Centre and numerous other powerful posts.
Elia - and family house.
The couple’s wealth is legendary and frequently recorded on the pages of publications such as Asian Tatler Magazine.
They have extensive investments in Australia and vast houses in Sarawak as well. The two marriages of their daughter Elia, who has also been handed her own vast plantations by the State of Sarawak, attracted widespread attention owing to the blatant expenditure involved.
The success of the Geneids has thus visibly far outstripped the benefits that have accrued to even the other wealthy Mahmud family members over the past few years. And they more than any of them have most to lose should Taib’s government fall and the handing out of these contracts and land titles come under proper scrutiny!
Elia - and family house.
Not just wealth but power
What is only just now being fully revealed in the last few weeks before the election is the extent to which all this wealth and success has depended on what would appear to be the direct manipulation of the Chief Minister, as he has started to lose his judgement and faculties.
The Bomoh Stella, who defiantly stepped into the lime-light last week, after she was exposed by Sarawak Report, is now revealed to be the direct relative of Robert Geneid.
He has also extended his tentacles and influence into the Chief Minister’s most intimate private life, having provided him with his second wife – an issue that has also, according to our insider sources, caused enormous anger and worry amongst other family members. Abu Bekir referred to the circumstances of the surprise nuptuals in January when he spoke at the wedding:
“This unification would not have happened if not for Datuk Raziah Mahmud and husband Datuk Robert Geneid. It was Robert’s cousin Iqbal who introduced Puan Sri to my father”
It has now been confirmed that Ragat is directly related to Robert, by other family members.
Insiders have told us they believe the marriage of Ragat and Taib, separated by 45 years, is less a question of instant love and attraction and far more a question of exerting a nanny-like control over the old man, while the Geneids move to consolidate their gains and finish off exploiting their massive raid on Sarawak!
Failed by BN
While even members of Taib’s own family have shown willing to try to put a stop to this exploitation of Sarawak, BN’s so-called leaders in KL have clearly failed to do anything about it. Whether they are culpable through just weakness or self-interest, it is clear that Sarawak’s best interests lie in being rid of BN.

Don’t test patience of Malays, Perkasa warns Christians
Christians should be wary of making unreasonable demands such as asking that bibles be printed in Bahasa Malaysia, Perkasa chief Datuk Ibrahim Ali said today.
The Malay rights group president said that Malays have been patient for “far too long” and have allowed non-Malays to make excessive demands.
“How many Malays are Christian? Why do you have to have bibles in Bahasa? Why not use bahasa Iban, or Kadazan?
“This is a problem of national security ... we (Malays) have been far too giving, I want to remind them to not be excessive in their demands,” said Ibrahim.
“They are not the majority of the country,” he stressed.
The Pasir Mas MP said that the reason why the Christian community were making demands now was because Sarawak elections were underway.
“They are taking advantage of the elections, they raise these things and we cannot object ... they are trying to exploit sensitive issues,” added Ibrahim.
“We have not brought up the issue of our rights,” he said.
Christian groups have been locked in a dispute with the government over the usage of Malay language bibles, or Alkitab, and over the 35,000 new copies that have been impounded in Kuching and Port Klang by the home ministry.
The ministry then allowed the bibles to be released on condition of being stamped with serial numbers and the phrase “For Christians only”. Christian groups had initially refused to abide by these conditions and have not collected the copies.
The Najib administration said yesterday that the Malay bible importers have now agreed to collect the 35,000 copies impounded in Port Klang and Kuching.
However, the importers of the books in Port Klang have said the bibles will not be sold or distributed, but will be preserved as museum pieces to illustrate what Christians have called the “defacement” of their holy book.
Home Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Mahmood Adam said the 10-point solution proposed last week had “paved the way” for the importers, Bible Society of Malaysia (BSM) and The Gideons, to collect the books.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein himself had also been quoted as saying that the latest move was a “positive response” to the Cabinet’s collective decision in drawing up the 10-point solution.

Until what extend that the Christian demand to release Bible can harm the National security? Our country is not build only by the Muslim. If Christianity is the national threat, why do they silence although there are Churches burned, Holy Bible confiscated and some irrelevant accusation on the Christianity by some muslim. This is Malaysia and no Indonesia or Pakistan where freedom of religion is stated in Federal Constitution. Muslim is a religion as Christian does and it is not a supremacy entity to over rule other. What a shame muslim you are.
Anwar fumes over sex video query
this bastard and porn journalist indicated rude behaviour to DSAI
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim blew up at a reporter here when queried today about the sex video said to feature him and refused to reveal the whereabouts of the Omega watch seen in the recording.
The opposition leader became defensive the moment the video was mentioned during a press conference here this afternoon.
He had earlier appeared in good spirits when fielding questions on the Sarawak state election, chronicling to reporters his experience with the local folk here during his visits to a number of constituencies.
The reporter, a broadcast journalist from Kuala Lumpur, then cut in to ask the former deputy prime minister why he was yet to produce the Omega watch, which could prove his innocence in the fiasco.
“What has this got to do with the Omega watch? What has been established here?” he said angrily to the female reporter.
When she did not respond to his query but continued to question Anwar on his watch, the Permatang Pauh MP appeared to lose his cool and cut in again, saying, “Answer my question. What has been established?”
He then challenged the reporter, asking her if she had ever been brave enough to ask Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak about the latter’s purported involvement in the murder of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaaribuu.
“Have you ever been brave enough to ask? Meaning, the media has to be honest and should not be hypocrites.
“It shows consistence here that they have become the tools of those who are cruel and spread slander,” he said.
In between his tirade, the reporter pressed on with her question, triggering the enraged-looking Anwar to shoot back, “I know your question is just to help Utusan Malaysia print tomorrow that Anwar failed to answer [the question]. If you truly want to find out the truth ... have you finished your question? No? Ok, ask.”
At this point, another journalist attempted to cut in with a question on the polls but Anwar waved him aside and told the media that he wanted the female broadcast journalist to finish her query.
“Let her finish. I want to show you how Umno operates,” he said.
The reporter then insisted that she was merely doing her job as a member of the media.
She then repeated her question and asked the opposition why the Omega watch, which Anwar’s wife Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail had recently claimed was in her possession, was yet to be surrendered to the police.
This fired up Anwar further and he thundered, “When did the police ask for it?”.

He repeated the same question at least four times before saying that the police had never requested for the watch.
The female reporter attempted again to cut in but wagging his finger at her, Anwar said, “You, please. You asked a question, I answer.”
The Datuk T trio behind the recent exposure of the 21-minute sex video, allegedly featuring Anwar and a foreign prostitute, had claimed that the Pakatan Rakyat de facto leader had left his watch behind in the hotel room during the time of the recording.
They said that the watch later came into their possession and surrendered it to the police recently, along with the video to aid investigations.
Anwar also said that there was no need for him to surrender his watch to the police since they had not made such a request as yet.
The central issue in the controversy, he pointed out, was the authenticity of the video.
The argument was cut short when a local Sarawak reporter came to Anwar’s defence and told the room full of reporters to confine their questions to the state elections.
At his request, applause was sounded all around.
“Yes, thank you very much. This is what the people of Sarawak want. This is a classic message.
“But some people are just interested in pornography, some people like sex and pornography. You can enjoy it but do not drag me into it.
“If you are interested in blue films, you go and participate or watch,” said Anwar.
He added that what was more important at the moment were the issue of land grabbing in Sarawak and other grouses faced by the locals here.
“That is why I said about the Royal Commission of Inquiry ... why not have one on Sarawak. The many billions that have been stolen, the land grabbed ... why has this not been questioned?
“This is more important and relevant in Sarawak,” he said.
Anwar went on to warn the room to refrain from attempting to cover up the many cases of corruption in Sarawak.
“Do not try to divert the focus from Sarawak to other things, in order to cover up all these issues. You should be careful of Barisan Nasional’s tactics and how it uses its agents for this purpose,” he said.

Unmi Hafilda was paid well for campaigning for UMNO and now this female reporter must also be paid very well !!!!!
This female reporter paid by UMNo must also ask Umni Hafilda about the 17 sex video Umni claimed to know where to find for this reporter to write for Utusan !!!!
Do you all remember when some reporter asked Najib about Bala and got a "I am not going to answer frivolous questions" and that ended that line of questioning. Najib most certainly was losing his cool but nobody made an issue of that. Wonder where this same reporter was during that time and we sure would like to see where she'd end up if she was there and had dared to have kept asking about Bala.
These mainstream journalists are really a bunch of scaredy hypocrites.
The watch belongs to the overweight lookalike actor. The reporter should ask Eskay why he never returned it to the owner. It means Eskay stole an expensive watch. (Why police never catch the self-confessed thief?)
Can this reporter also ask Najib how come Malaysian government has to pay comission to Razack baginda's company for buying submarine?
From RPK's web site
USD$100 milion commission for RM4.1 billion submarines contract was paid by Malaysia and not France
Count your blessings or face backlash, Sarawak Chinese warned
MCA Secretary-General Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha is surprised that the urban Chinese in Sarawak dont't seem to realise just how great a deal the community is getting from the state Barisan Nasional.
Cautioning them against a BN government backlash if they fail to count their blessings, he said that Sarawak has the most liberal policies towards the Chinese of all states in Malaysia.
"A Chinese district officer is unheard of in any other part of the country. Ande nowhere else in Malaysia do you have a Chinese mayor," Kong noted, alluding to the administrative structure where Chinese hold positions not open to them in other states.
"And it is only in Sarawak that you have a Chinese ketua kampung, penghulu, pemancar and Kapitam," Kong said in reference to the community leadership set-up.
Kong, who is Transport Minister, said the state government was also very liberal over the use of the Chinese language and very accomodating to the community practising their religion and traditions.
Nobody really doubts that BN will be returned to power in Sarawak. Only the margin of victory is uncertain.
Kong, who was on a brief visit to Sarawak, said: "It would be unfortunate for the Sarawak Chinese if they decide to throw their weight behind the oppostion.
"They have to understand that should they decide not to give their votes to the Chinese representatives, the other parties in the ruling coalition may use the defeat of SUPP as an excuse to change everything."
Kong said the opposition will not be able to form the next Sarawak state government.
"They may succeed in getting rid of SUPP in some constituencies, but this would only mean diluting Chinese representation in the government," he added. The Chinese make up 20 per cent of the population of Sarawak. SUPP, the Chinese-dominated BN party, is contesting 19 of the 71 seats.
SUPP lost six of the 19 seats it contested in the last election to the DAP, one to PKR and another to a SNAP candidate, who later joined SUPP.
SUPP publicity chief Daniel Ngieng said:"Whether you like it or not, BN is going to form the government after April 16, with or without Chinese representation as the Bumiputras are solidly behind them," he said.
"The Chinese have to vote BN-SUPP for representation in the government. We (SUPP) have shortcomings, but we are changing," he said.
"The opposition may promise UBAH (the DAP election slogan), but they actually don't have any agenda for change. People shouldn't gamble their future.

This MCA guy Kong Cho Ha must be exposed for what he is, a pitiful crumb-seeker for the Chinese community. He is not meant for the bigger picture and scheme of things in the Malaysian political scenario. People like him who intimidate his own community the way he does, does not hold a bright political future for himself. His own community will surely remember this UMNO's lackey on how he behaved before this important Sarawak elections. He is out to serve arrogant and corrupt UMNO's interest more than long-term Malaysian interest.
In times of crisis, this guy had involuntarily shown his poor judgement, desperation and maximum capacity to deal properly with situations for the long term good of all. He might as well disappear from the political scene immediately for all Malaysians. Buzz off Kong. Eff you. You are nothing more than a short-sighted UMNO crumb-seeker!
BN troubled as Pakatan rally draws more support
he empty seats close to Najib speaks of the attraction the prime minister’s speech last night in the Sarawak capital
Barisan Nasional (BN) was left red-faced last night when two separate rallies across the city featuring Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his arch-nemesis Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim drew vastly different crowd numbers.
The packed crowd listening to Anwar last night at the Pakatan Rakyat rally last night.
The usually conservative Sarawak folk arrived in droves at Anwar’s rally in the Batu Kawah constituency just 30 minutes outside of the city, all clambering to listen to the opposition leader and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) bigwigs like DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and PAS spiritual leader Datuk Seri Nik Aziz Nik Mat.
According to observers at least 8,000 were in attendance, causing a major two-hour traffic congestion on the roads leading to the ceramah venue.
Held at the same time in the same city, Najib’s 1 Malaysia meet-the-leaders session paled in comparison.
Even with the bussing of people from various neighbouring constituencies into Kuching South City Hall’s indoor stadium, only a thousand were seen in it.
Each participant were given a 1 Malaysia t-shirt to wear to signal unity and flags to wave at BN government leaders as they made their way into the stadium.
Accompanying the BN chairman were the five Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) candidates, and political bigwigs like Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon and Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.
After the prime minister followed the red carpet trail leading into the hall to the sounds of hoots and whistles from the white-shirt supporters, hundreds were seen streaming out, choosing to opt out of listening to his speech.
Instead, they were seen loitering around the stadium complex, chatting and feasting on the hamburgers and mineral water that were handed out.
Even as Najib’s function kicked off, large numbers were seen lounging in the buses and vans that had ferried them into the venue.
When the prime minister began his speech, large groups of people, garbed in the 1 Malaysia t-shirts, decided to stream out of the hall.
Others appeared to look bored but clapped dutifully at Najib’s punchlines or when those around them did so. The bleachers steadily emptied out as the night wore on.
While the BN chairman tried to temper the people’s growing anger against Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud by pleading with them to believe the chief minister’s succession promise, the thousands that gathered at Batu Kawah cheered as PR’s leaders told them to believe otherwise.
According to reporters at the venue, Anwar received steady attention from the crowd thoughout his speech.
In his element when addressing such large audiences, the opposition leader told Sarawakians to believe in PR and its leaders, adding that “Pek Moh”, the Hokkien term used to describe Taib, and his men in government, needed to learn from Lim, Nik Aziz and other opposition leaders.
“They have never stolen state land from the people,” he pointed out.
He drew from PR’s experiences in the Selangor and Penang state governments, pointing out that “in Selangor you get free water but in Sarawak only the rainwater is free”.
Sarawak will go to polls this April 16 in an election that is fast becoming BN’s to lose.
While PR’s leaders have long admitted that BN would successfully defend its hold over the hornbill state, many have also expressed confidence that the pact’s numbers win the state assembly would be significantly reduced.
BN presently has 63 seats in the 71-seat assembly while DAP has six and PKR and Parti Cinta Malaysia have one each.

We dare BN to stop giving T-shirts to prove they are normal public attending the ceremah....not the usual pom-pom members
This shows that Sarawakians are not impressed by Najib. We know that when he start throwing goodies at us, it's all paid by us, our blood and tear. Look at the picture. How pathetic compared to the large attendance of the opposition. We hope this time the rural folks will not be fooled by cheap freebies from the BN. And look out for cheats in the EC.
Remember your children's and grand children's future - vote for a new government . Barisan had destroyed the harmony and prosperity of Malaysia.

Inquest if second MACC death raises doubts, gabby Najib
Datuk Seri Najib Razak said today an inquest on the death of Customs officer Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed is only necessary if there are doubts about his death, upon completion of a police investigation.
The prime minister (picture) was responding to a question about the growing calls from the Opposition to conduct an inquiry on the mysterious death, after officiating the launch of the 1 Malaysia Cardiff City Junior Football League 2011 here.
“We need to do this in stages. The first, we should look at the police investigation report and if there's a doubt on his death, then only we will have an inquest,” he told reporters.
De facto law minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz had scoffed at Pakatan Rakyat’s (PR) immediate call for a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) on Ahmad Sarbani’s death, saying the opposition should also press for a similar panel into the alleged sex video of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Opposition leaders on the other hand had called the death at the MACC office a more serious issue, compared to the recently surfaced sex video.
The assistant director of the Selangor Customs died on April 6 after falling from the third floor of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) building on Jalan Cochrane where he was being investigated with others for over a billion ringgit in unpaid taxes.
It was reported that his body was found sprawled on the badminton court at the first floor at 10.15am.
The death comes even as a RCI is being conducted into the anti-graft body’s operating procedures following the death of former DAP aide Teoh Beng Hock, who also fell to his death from an MACC building.
Teoh was found dead on July 16, 2009 on the fifth floor of Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam, where the Selangor MACC office had then been located.

the arrogant bastard pariah of mamak....lick najib ball until smooth...!!!
Former PKR deputy president Dr Chandra Muzaffar lashed out against critics who targeted the men behind a sex video allegedly featuring opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim with a prostitute.
Joining the fray on the sex video scandal, Chandra said it was the wrongdoer and not those who exposed the wrongdoing that should be targeted.
The former PKR deputy president said he was disappointed with some quarters whose focus had gone astray.
"It is not the individuals who expose the wrongdoing who should be our target, but the wrongdoer himself and his wrongdoing," said Chandra, who was once a staunch Anwar ally, told the New Sunday Times yesterday.
The men behind the video, the "Datuk T" (trio), have become the subject of attacks by the opposition and some parties for possession and distribution of pornography, which they said was tantamount to a criminal offence.
The trio, comprising former Malacca chief minister Tan Sri Rahim Thamby Chik, businessman Datuk Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and Per- kasa's treasurer-general Datuk Shuib Lazim, claimed responsibility for the public screening of the video to selected journalists on March 21 at Carcosa Seri Negara.
Using an analogy of corruption as an example, Chandra said people should condemn the person who committed the act rather than those who exposed the act.
"Why should we be so obsessed with those who wash dirty linen in public when actually we should be chastising those who dirty the linen in the first instance?"
Chandra, who is now a social activist and an academician, also gave his support for the establishment of a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) to determine the identity of the man in the video despite objections from Anwar's family and supporters.
He said they should have no compunctions about the establishment of the royal panel if they were convinced that Anwar had done no wrong.
However, he warned the opposition leader of serious repercussions if it was proven otherwise, "as others in similar circumstances have done".
"If, on the other hand, Anwar is prepared to come to terms with the truth, he should resign from his position as leader of the opposition and cease to be the ketua umum (de facto leader) of the opposition grouping".
He further reminded the public not to have illusions about the man named Anwar, emphasising that it was not only just the latter's alleged "sexual misdemeanours" that made him abandon the opposition ship 10 years ago.
"There were graver issues pertaining to money politics, ethnic relations and international affairs that compelled me to part company with Anwar.
"Ten years ago, when I quit (the party), I appealed to Anwar and his wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, in public to be honest to their conscience. I am still waiting."
Although there were many calls supporting the setting up of a RCI to probe the sex video clip, the Bar Council, on the other hand, went against the tide by saying that such a suggestion was "misguided".
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said on Friday he would table a proposal to establish the royal panel to the cabinet.
In a statement issued yesterday, Bar Council president Lim Chee Wee said an RCI was only set up to enquire into matters of public importance, commonly involving public institutions, as stated under the Commissions of Enquiry Act 1950.

Chandra,
Who's paying you to say some stupid remarks like this .............. ' Datuk T ' ? How do you like to get framed for something you didn't do ? ? Better still, why don't you make a comparison of this recent sex video with one involving an ARMNO slave dog, Mr Chua Soiled Leg, smart ass ?
This fellow is the prostitute. In 1999 he was carrying the balls of Anwar. Now he is carrying the balls of Najis. Why don't he ask why Najis was not questioned in court in the Altantuya trial? If he wants to have an open debate I will tear him to pieces. Bullshitter.
Najib to clear air with Customs officers...clear with what..????... threatened with C4 or what???...!!!
Datuk Seri Najib Razak is prepared to meet Customs representatives to thrash out issues after its union said morale was damaged by the death of senior officer Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed and allegations of billion-ringgit corruption.
The prime minister also said today that Customs should not be concerned about the allegations if they adhered to regulations.
“It would not be a problem. I can meet them, at the appropriate time.
“Problems crop up if we do not want to declare or under-declare. If we adhere to regulations, there should not be any problem,” he was quoted as saying by national news agency Bernama on its website.
Ahmad Sarbani was found dead on the ground outside the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) office in Jalan Cochrane at about 10.20am on Wednesday.
The Peninsular Malaysia Customs Union demanded yesterday to meet the PM and hear an explanation for Ahmad Sarbani’s death.
It also asked for the Royal Customs and Excise Department’s name to be cleared from allegations of corruption and money-laundering amounting to RM108 billion.
“There will be no problems if we adhere to regulations. In the case of import of products, for example, there will be no problem if we declare the products at the right price,” Najib added.
The Selangor Customs assistant director’s death comes as a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) is investigating MACC operational procedures and the death of Teoh on July 16, 2009 after a coroner’s inquest returned an open verdict of neither suicide nor homicide.
The aide to Selangor executive councillor Ean Yong Hian Wah was a witness whose body was found sprawled on the fifth-floor corridor of the anti-graft body’s Selangor headquarters following overnight questioning there.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Zulkifli Abdullah also confirmed that Sarbani suffered injuries that were consistent with a fall from height but refused to say if the 56-year-old father had suffered any other injuries.
Union president Ibrahim Ahmad also said that the MACC should explain Ahmad Sarbani’s death and clear the senior officer from suicide.
The prime minister also promised on Thursday a transparent and professional investigation into Sarbani’s death but said the circumstances were different from a similar death plunge involving Teoh Beng Hock as the Customs officer was not being questioned on Wednesday unlike the DAP political aide.
Incidentally, theCustoms is under the purview of the Finance Ministry which is headed by Najib.
Ibrahim also said that it was unfair for MACC to target Customs officials in its bid to recoup a whopping RM108 billion in reported revenue loss to the country annually.
“We have consistently submitted our revenue report and every year we earn about RM28 billion so it is illogical for us to be responsible for the RM108 billion,” he said, referring to last week’s raid that led to the arrest of 62 officers, including Sarbani.
The MACC raided over 100 premises including 25 Customs offices in a nationwide dragnet late last month for alleged tax evasion, money laundering and illegal funds outflows worth billions of ringgit.

Or a few thousand of new BN millionaires
In Malaysia the PM has to step into all matters. Did you notice?
It could mean:
1. The ministries are not doing their job or
2. The ministries are not capable/efficient or
3. The PM wants to put his hand into all matters
4. The Rakyat have no confidence in the ministries and want decisions direct from the PM.
don't forget the sub and altantuya ya. All also because of corruption. Latest French Goverment says malaysian goverment paid the commission. The then ass minister of defence lied in parliment too need to be investigate.
