MACC’s probe on ‘Disneyland’ trip completed, awaiting 'further actiion'

Datuk Jaapar Mahat, the director of the Selangor MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) said that the they have completed the investigation on allegations that public funds were used to pay for the trip of the former Mentri Besar of Selangor Datuk Seri Dr Khir Toyo, his children and maid to Disneyland. Jaapar said that the investigation papers have since been submitted to the Senior Federal Council for further action.

He said “I was told the investigations have been completed and the papers are being studied by our senior federal counsel at headquarters. It is not for me to tell you of the findings of the investigations as our job is only investigate,” He was telling the reporters after the visit by the Angkatan Muda Keadilan who visited the commission’s office to hand over a memorandum which was to remind MACC of the case. They provided the papers which included the findings of the SELCAT (Select Committee on Competence, Accountability and Transparency) which investigated the payment of more than RM1 million for Dr Khir, his wife, Datin Seri Zaharak Kechik, his 3 children and the maid on a visit to Disneyland in Paris and in Orlando in the US. Khairul Anuar Ahmad Zainudin, the chief of the Selangor Angkatan Muda Keadilan said “The meorandum was to remind the MACC of the case. We want to know the status of the case and why it has taken so long to investigate and take action. We want the commission to act fairly,”

The case took so long coz they could not find Mickey Mouse and Donald to stand as evidence.

As history has proven under the UMNO flagship, NOTHING will happen and Toyo will walk away a free man. MY PERSONAL bet.

Regardless of new MACC or whatever. Malaysia will still be the same... and going backwards.

If another x MB can do a David Copperfied act of banishing with the few hundred thousand of cash in Australia without any charges or investigations,then don't expect Toyo to be charged for abusing public funds for his maid and family..unless he spent the money to buy some cows for certain functions of couse..Call it 1Malysia and shout on top of your voice Malysia boleh or bolo..just go fly kites..

The present goevermnet is only good at creating new slogans and shout..while our nearest neigbours don't shout or create catching slogons, but work smartly ...to overtake Malaysia as leading tigers..Sad that the once rising Asian tiger is now very sick, with lots of problems and cannot follow the Asian tiger packs.
