Umno Youth will launch a membership drive tomorrow as part of its efforts to achieve its Key Performance Indicators (KPI) set by the party’s leadership.
Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said the movement targeted to surpass last year’s achievement when it enlisted 25,000 new members.
He said the campaign would be launched by Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Afdal, who is also Kedah Umno liaison committee chairman.
Speaking to reporters after chairing Umno Youth Executive Committee meeting here today, he said Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister and Member of Parliament for Jerlun Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir was expected to attend the ceremony. — Bernama
