Ex-PKR MPs form Independent bloc
Five ex-PKR-turned Independent MPs today announced the formation of an Independent Consensus (Konsensus Bebas) in Parliament, in a move that could benefit Barisan Nasional (BN) because of their animosity toward Pakatan Rakyat (PR).
Bayan Baru MP Datuk Seri Zahrain Hashim, Nibong Tebal MP Tan Tee Beng, Bagan Serai MP Mohsin Hj. Samsuri, Kulim-Bandar Baharu MP Zulkifli Noordin and Wangsa Maju MP Wee Choo Keong said that the consensus will be a ”third force” whereby it offers “the rakyat an effective voice in Parliament.”
“Konsensus Bebas will be an effective, independent and non-partisan Parliamentary bloc. Voicing views and taking political actions independently, transcending partisan politics in presenting our stance and policies as Independent Members of Parliament.
“We believe that the formation of Konsensus Bebas is the best solution for us as members of Parliament to present issues of national and public interest collectively and effectively.
“With this general agreement, Konsensus Bebas is convinced that it is able to execute its responsibilities as a parliamentary bloc without the patronage of any political party,” said Zahrain, the spokesman of the newly-formed bloc.

The independent block does not hold the balance of power. BN bills can still go through without their support. They will eded up as a millow, Starved out of resources to carry out their mission. if they want to be truly independednt, they must be independent, make decision based on their independent principle
They will soon become irirrelevat
Firstly you have cheated the voters. If you all thinks by being "independant bloc" more effective you should have contested as Independant. So you don't have the right the represent the people who voted you as PKR candidate anymore. What type of politicians are you? Can i say, swindle the voters. In the next GE try contesting as Independant and see how you all will performed.
This will be the shortest lived group of politicians. Their political careers are history come the next election if God doesn't take them earlier.
the most despicable of all politicians, shameless, Judas of them all, dare even to shows their faces in our august parliament. These kataks, unprincipled and lame politicians. Please disappear from society. Who are you serving except yourselves!
