Datuk T Murugiah, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department said that the government has implemented a 14 days deadline for its departments and local authorities to reply to letters and queries. This he said has been instructed to all the offices concerned. He said “The Government is very serious about the matter and that the Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) was closely monitoring the situation.” Murugiah also called on those who have sent in their queries and letters but have yet to get a response to inform the PCB through all means possible. He said “We assure the people that the bureau will take up the complaints immediately and get back to the complainant,"

and then they will call and tell you to re-submit the same old thing because some documents went missing as the Pengarah is busy golfing and holidaying somewhere so the whole dept is in massive hay wire.
