No submarine underwater rides for MPs - Defence Minister tells Backbencher

Datuk Mohd Jidin Shafee, the BN representative of Setiu and a member of the BN Backbenchers' Club suggested that members of parliament should be given a ride in the country's first submarine, the KD Tunku Abdul Rahman so that tehy will get a clearer picture of what the Defence Ministry had purchased.

The ministry recently bought the 2 Scorpene submarines totaling to RM3.4 billion which drew some protests from various quarters. Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the Defence Minister then replied that the submarines are not vehicles that any ordinary person can ride in and only those with high resilience and specially trained like the crewmen in the submarine could endure. He said "Not everyone can handle the ride. I can try to arrange for MPs to be allowed to enter the submarine but I cannot promise that they will be taken for an underwater sight-seeing because it's going to be quite a tough ride,"

Please can we send all the BN cronies for an underwater trip, without a submarine, without an oxygen tank and only a an anchor tied to their bodies so they can be kept down forat least 15 mins?

Imagine how much they had made from the purchase of KD-KD Altantuya.Now their BN reps want to get a joy ride on it. Zahid will need to ask Najib whether its ok or not.He should suggest to Najib to extensively charge every reps that intends to go for the joy ride because every cost and expenses of the submarine comes from the public's hard earn income.
