MACC can investigate my son-in-law if they need to – Nik Aziz

Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, the Menteri Besar of Kelantan said that the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) is free to investigate anyone when carrying out their duties and it is their prerogative to call on anyone even if that someone is Abdul Ariffahmi Abdul Rahman, who is his son-in-law. Abdul Ariffahmi is also the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of the Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kelantan, the state owned company of the state government.

Nik Aziz said “If there was any truth in the allegations by a blogger on his son-in-law, it would personally thank the blogger but if there was no truth in such allegations, then he would bear the consequences for such an allegation. Twice before he was investigated and both times there was nothing. This is probably a game played by some bloggers...if there is no truth in their allegations they will pay for their sin,"

This came in light when it was reported that the MACC had earlier went to Abdul Ariffahmi’s office where they were investigating some cases of corruption.
