Johor Umno Youth has scheduled a gathering for June 10 at Istana Pasir Pelangi to express support for the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.
Its head, Mohd Fadil Maskon, said more than 300 NGOs were expected to participate in the “Loyalty Pledge” gathering which would also express the people’s protest against Perak PAS deputy commissioner Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin for allegedly questioning the Sultan’s successful RM520,000 bid for the WWW1 car registration number.
The gathering of more than 5,000 people, including members of Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties, would also express the people’s readiness to check any attempt to belittle the institution of the monarchy, he told a news conference here.
Mohd Fadil called on the people of Johor to join the gathering, scheduled for noon, to express their loyalty to the Sultan.
He said Johor Umno Youth would hand over to the Sultan a memorandum pledging undivided loyalty to the monarch

UMNO Youth only wants to make use of royalty and religion to stay relevant. The royalty in Malaysia will be wise enough to stay close to the rakyat and the Malay community rather than be made used of by UMNO.
