Independent Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Mohamed Zahrain Hashim has threw a challenge to opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim calling on him to return his ‘Datuk Seri’ title if he is so strong about rejecting the Malay supremacy or ‘Ketuanan Melayu’ concept because the title was awarded to him by the Malay rulers. The Bayan Baru MP was formerly from the PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) but has since left the party and is part of the Independent Consensus in Parliament.
He said “I feel it is strange that they [PKR leaders] are expounding on the issue of ‘ketuanan Melayu’ [Malay supremacy], trying to portray that they are Malay leaders of integrity. I have known Anwar for years and the whole Malay supremacy issue was founded by him when he was Umno deputy president and the deputy prime minister before. Malay supremacy was the founding principle of Anwar’s struggles during the early days of his political career in government and accused the leader of being a “hypocrite” for backtracking on his words now that he was no longer in power. When he was Finance Minister, he and many of his cronies received benefits, using their positions as Malays. So now, are they feeling regretful or jealous because they are no longer in power? Do they feel that they are losing out and that is why they are raising this issue?”
Attacking his former boss further, Zahrain added that “Anwar and all PKR leaders should prove their sincerity in rejecting the Malay supremacy concept by returning their titles and all other forms of gratification they had received, if any, to the Rulers. To me, if this is their stand, then they, especially Anwar and those in support of him, should return their state awards from the Malay Rulers. If they have principles and integrity, they should do this. I challenge them to do so and only then can we respect what they have said. For now however, this is just hypocrisy. I plead with Tuanku, in all humility, to revoke all their titles if they continue to be thick-skinned and lacking in dignity. And tell the people that they are not fit to receive these titles,”

Cock Zahrain is talking cock again. He is one those who cannot understand the constitution. I guess most ministers including Perkasa should be reading the constitution and then sit for an exam. If fail, they get out.
